Plan Each block in this quilt contains 2 different bright prints from the same color family. When selecting the assorted bright fabrics, keep in mind that each block requires 1 piece about 4˝ x 7˝ for the colorful triangles, and 1 piece about 2˝ x 8˝ for the small squares surrounding the center of the block.     2 Referring to Diagram II, sew together 1 each white and assorted 1½˝ x 8˝ strips to make strip set. Press in direction of arrow. Cut into 4 segments 1½˝ wide.

    3 Referring to Diagram III, sew 3 rows using 4 matching pieced squares, 4 matching segments, and black 1½˝ square. Sew rows together to make Propeller Block. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 to make 28 total.

    4 Note: Refer to Assembly Diagram for this step. Stitch 4 rows of 4 white 5½˝ squares and 3 blocks each. Stitch 4 rows of 4 blocks and 3 white squares each. Sew rows together, alternating.

    5 Layer, baste, and quilt. Bind with gray/white dot.
