Acting either as direct Manpower Supplier or as a 3rd party supplier, IMRA Group has managed to source and provide experienced OOperations & MMaintenance personnel for various projects, among which will be just mentioning few, as follow: A1. MLN Project Algeria - ConocoPhillips

The block is situated in the Berkine Basin near the town of Hassi Messaoud, approximately 435 miles or 700 kilometres southeast of Algiers. The MLN Field was discovered in 1996. IMRA Group has covered 60 % of the required expatriates, from production operators to upper tier management and supervisory levels.

We started in 2003 to secure personnel for MLN when Burlington Resources has started oil production in the field along with initial commissioning of the field's oil processing and storage facilities, continued through 2006 when the oil field was acquired by ConocoPhillips and the project is still ongoing and our personnel is still there.

Supplied personnel: Production Superintendent, Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Field Operator, Plant Operator, Control Room Operator, Reservoir Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Gas Turbine Specialist, Electrical & Instrument Engineer, Electrical & Instrument Technician, HSE Engineer, Work Permit Coordinator etc.



A2. Mellitah Complex Libya – Eni SpA

Mellitah Complex Comprise of Wafa coastal plant, Mellitah plants and Marine export facilities. Wafa Coastal plant treats production received from Wafa desert and includes; fractionation and stabilization units to produce oil and LPG. The oil is routed to storage tanks with total capacity of about 2.5 MBbls, and the LPG is routed to the LPG splitter to produce commercial Propane and Butane which finally routed to fully refrigerated storage tanks, Propane storage capacity is about 230 KBbls, Butane storage capacity is about 210 KBbls.

Mellitah plant treats production received from Bahr Essalam field and includes; gas plant, sulphur recovery units, fractionation units and condensate stabilization units.

IMRA Group covered 40% of the project personnel through Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-Up and OOperations & MMaintenance (ENI Gas Libya as final client). We’ve been involved since 2005 in securing staff for entire gas plant, sulphur recovery units, fractionation units and condensate stabilization units.

A3. Kwale-Okpai Power Plant Nigeria – ENI-Saipem

The plant is the first of its kind built by an oil company in Nigeria and is consistent with the plan for natural gas monetization which was launched by Eni in 1999 with the objective of elimination of atmospheric emissions by 2008. The power station in Okpai has been built near the NAOC oil and gas production and treatment plant at Kwale. The power station consists of:

• An Integrated Cycle electric generation plant for the production of 480 MW, made up of two gas turbines and one steam turbine

• An overhead transmission line of 130 KV, 54 Km in length that crosses the Niger River and connects the plant to the national grid in the town of Onitsha in Anambra state.

• A 14 Km pipeline for transport of fuel gas from the NAOC JV system to the power plant



IMRA Group is present in Okpai field starting with 2005 when the start-up of the gas plant took place. We have supplied the following categories of personnel: Medical Doctor, HSE Supervisor, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Electrical & Instrument Technician, Workshop Supervisor, Plant Operator, Field Operator etc.

A4. Obiafu-Obrikom NGL (Ob-Ob) Gas Treatment Plant - ENI Saipem

Obiafu-Obrikom was built in 1985 gave a considerable boost to local industries as it provided the feedstock for the NNPC petrochemical complex at Eleme, which produces polymers. The Obiafu-Obrikom gas treatment plant also sends feed gas to the strategically important liquefaction project, which has been carried out by Nigeria LNG Ltd.

IMRA Group’s involvement in Ob/Ob project started in 2005 when we have supplied the following categories of personnel: Electrical Specialist, Instrument Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Field Operator, Plant Operator, Camp Supervisor etc.

A5. Bonny Island LNG complex - Nigeria LNG Limited

The Nigerian LNG (NLNG) project at Bonny Island has been constantly expanded since it began commercial operation in 1999. Construction of the plant site commenced in February 1996. By August 1999 one of the two trains initially proposed of the base project was completed and the production of LNG started on September 15 of the same year. The second train was completed and became operational in February 2000 while the third train became operational in November 2002.

The NLNG Plus, an expansion project of the NLNG, comprised of trains four and five, which came on-stream in November 2005 and February 2006 respectively. IMRA Group started supplying personnel to Bonny Island in 2006 for the maintenance & operations departments. The personnel we’ve supplied are: Mechanical Engineer, E&I Engineer, Electrical Supervisor, Instrument Technician, Control Panel Operator, Field Operator, Plant Operator, HSE Engineer, HSE Trainer, Planning Engineer etc.

A6. Novy Urengoy, Russia - Gazprom

Among the promising projects being currently implemented by Gazprom is the low-density polyethylene production project at the Novy - Urengoy Petrochemical Complex.



The gases received as by-products by the Urengoy Gas Condensate Treatment Directorate will serve as the resource base for producing plastics for various purposes, high-octane gasoline additives and other materials necessary for the automobile, agricultural, building and aerospace industries.

IMRA Group has supplied the following personnel: Instrument Technician, Electrical Supervisor, Maintenance Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Electrical Technician, Plant Operator, Gas Turbine Operator, Welders etc.

A7. Zueitina Terminal, Libya – Zueitina Oil Company (NOC) Libya

Zueitina Oil Company represents a subsidiary of NOC (National Oil Corporation) Libya, being established in 1986 as a Libyan incorporated company to carry out the whole oil operations which was started by Occidental International back in 1966, and had been nationalized in 1986. The main company aim is to produce crude oil, natural gas, and condensate at minimum cost and optimum recovery, with great concern given to environment care. The Company production is 58,000 barrels per day (bpd); this is in addition to 12,000 bpd – the Company Owners' share in Nafoura Unit, Ojla - as well as the manufacturing of nearly 24,000 bpd through the gas condensers. The average generated power production in the Company's Fields and Terminal is 42.0 megawatts per day. The Company's crude oil - considered among the best Libyan crude oil and has been called "Zueitina Blend" in the international market since the latest sixties- is exported via Zueitina Terminal. Zueitina Terminal is also used in exporting crude and the shares of other Companies such as: Eni, Wintershall Co. and OMV. The Company is handling up to 20% of the country's crude oil via Zueitina Terminal. Zueitina Oil Company supplies the local market with all its needs of liquefied gas (cooking gas) through Brega Oil Company. Quantities of this gas are also exported outside the country.

A8. COSL-Expro Testing Services (Tianjin) - China

COSL-EXPRO Testing Services (Tianjin) Company, Ltd. (CETS) is a services company which is specializing in testing operation in oil field. CETS is a Sino-Foreign Equity Joint Venture. The Parties’ Shareholders are China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) and Exploration & Production Services (Holdings) Ltd. (EXPRO).

IMRA Group has started to source & provide staffing solutions for CETS by middle of 2009. So far we have supplied the following personnel: Maintenance Equipment Manager, Maintenance Electrical Supervisor, Maintenance Mechanical Technician, Electrical & Instrumentation Technician and HSE Engineer.

A9. Abu Dhabi Polymers Co. Ltd. (BOROUGE)

Borouge, a market leader in high performance polyefins, is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), one of the world’s major oil and gas companies, and Austria based Borealis, a leading provider of chemical and innovative plastics solutions. Central to Borouge's operations is the petrochemical production plant in Ruwais, about 250 km west of Abu Dhabi City in the United Arab Emirates.

In 2010, under the project name of Borouge 2 while the company tripled the polyolefins manufacturing capacity of the plant, IMRA successfully supported the development with high skilled Romanian technical workforce that integrated perfectly into Borouge’s multinational workforce consisting on over 45 nationalities.

IMRA Group has supplied: Material Engineer, Shift supervisor, Mechanical Engineer, Instrument Engineer, HSE Coordinator, Control Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Structural Engineer, Field Operator etc.

A. Larsen Oil & Gas (Singapore)

Starting the very early phases of the project (October 2007), IMRA Group has provided Crew Management solutions for PetroRig I (now called Ocean Courage under Diamond Offshore fleet), a brand new 6th generation ultra deep water semi-submersible drilling unit (10,000 feet) that will start to operate into the U.S. GoM for Petrobras (5 years +5 contract) by June 2010. IMRA Group has been involved from very early advertising & recruitment phases up to payroll, travel and logistics coordination for the eennttiirree 111166 ccrreeww mmeemmbbeerrss (U.S., Canadians, Australians and few Europeans). All of them have been employed by IMRA Group on a “direct hire” basis and we brought value to Larsen’s operations by finding the legal way to hire all personnel as “Independent Contractor” for project period in Singapore Jurong Shipyard (cost savings up to US$ 4 million as no taxes have been paid in U.S.).

C. Modec International (Houston, TX)

Modec was awarded the Baobab Project in July 2003 from CNR International (Côte d'Ivoire) for the development of the Baobab Field Offshore Côte d'Ivoire and responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and operations for the 2,000,000 barrel storage capacity FPSO including the topsides processing equipment and external turret mooring system. FPSO Baobab Ivorien MV 10 is installed in 970 meters water depth, making it one of the deepest water FPSOs in the world. It is capable of processing 70,000 barrels of oil per day, 75 million cubic feet of natural gas, and 100,000 bpd of water injection.

IMRA Group has been involved within this project in 2003 from its very early conversion phase in Jurong Shipyard in Singapore till present time, offering the following services: advertising of project’ job openings, recruitment & selection of suitable candidates, interviews organizing with short-listed candidates and afterwards training, visas obtaining, travel & logistic support to all personnel hired from our end onboard FPSO Baobab Ivorien MV.

D. Expro Group (U.K.)

D1. Dibi EPS Nigeria - Exprotech (final client: Chevron)

Starting with 2005, Expro recommended converting the “Swamp Queen” drilling barge which had been previously supplied and operated by Expro as an early production facility for Shell, in Nigeria, into the Dibi EPS for its concession to Chevron Nigeria Limited. The EPS process package is a complete self-contained unit with 36-man accommodation module and heli-deck operating in Warri, Nigeria. Pipe work refurbishment at the Dibi site, conversion of the Swamp Queen and subsequent transportation and commissioning of the EPS, were completed without any lost time or recordable injuries.

IMRA Group has been involved from very early advertising & recruitment phases up to travel / logistics coordination of entire Romanian personnel onboard (approximately 40% of the entire crew members).

OOperations & MMaintenance supplied personnel: Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Operations Manager, Piping Engineer, Sr. Instrument Technician, Production Supervisor, Sr. Mechanical Supervisor, Production Engineer, etc.

D2. Agbani Nigeria - Exprotech (final client: Technical Partner Brass Exploration)

In 1998, The Expro Group carried out the conversion of a 90 m long bulk carrier to the Agbani Floating Production Facility in a record 20 weeks. The project also achieved the target of first oil within twelve months of contract award by Brass Exploration Ltd. The Agbani FPF is currently installed in Nigeria on the Abana Field in Block OPL230 operated by Moni Pulo Ltd with Technical Partner Brass Exploration. The Field is located at the mouth of the Calabar River near the Cameroon boarder.

IMRA Group has been involved in securing Agbani FPF’ recruitment needs starting with 2005, same year with providing the same services to Expro for Dibi EPS.

E. Amenam Kpono Oil and Gas Export Project (AKOGEP) (final client - TotalElf)

The Amenam-Kpono field sits astride two offshore blocks, OML 99 and OML 70, about 30 km off the coast in the eastern part of the Niger Delta. Discovered in 1990, Amenan-Kpono is today one of the largest conventional offshore developments ever undertaken in West Africa.

The field is already producing a substantial amount of light crude and is already delivering natural gas to the Bonny liquefaction plant.

The first phase has been completed in 2003 when Amenam-Kpono began producing oil in and reached plateau production off 125,000 b/d a year later. Phase 2, valorisation of associated gas, has been operational starting with 2006.

IMRA Group has been involved in Amenam Project starting with 2005 through Dietsmann SAM from Monaco, among with their first requirement for HVAC positions. Since then, IMRA has supplied personnel for Maintenance and Production department, as well.

F. Takula Oilfield Angola - CABGOC

Takula complex discovered in 1971 handles about 230,000 bpd of Area A production from Block 0 from offshore Cabinda. A former jack-up rig is used on the site as an accommodations platform.

There are also a production platform and platforms for water and gas injection. Away from the central complex, a number of unmanned tripod production platforms handle three or four wells, each.

IMRA Group has been involved in this project starting with 2004 when, at the request of Baker / OTS and so far we have covered the following positions within the Maintenance & Production Department: Instrument Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Sr. Instrument Technician, Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Technician, Electrical & Instrument Technician, Production Engineer, etc.



G. Kashagan, Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan

Discovered in July 2000, Kashagan has been described as the largest field found in the past 30 years, the largest outside the Middle East and with a projected output close to that of the Ghawar field in Saudi Arabia. The Kashagan field is the largest oilfield discovered in the North Caspian Sea PSA contract area and extends over a surface area of approximately 75 x 45 km. Personnel supplied by IMRA Group: Senior Instrument & Control Technician, Mechanical Superintendent, Mechanical Technician, Engineer Technician, Welder etc.
