“Jesse Owens” sport stadium in Chilly-Mazarin, Essonne, France This contest, labelled by the French Judo Federation, will be organized by the cities of Chilly-Mazarin and Morangis, the Essonne’s general council and the Essonne’s Judo League For this new edition, we expect the best French teams to participate as well as many foreign teams.. results. The results of the three age categories will be taken into
account.
Along the day, “top ippon” entertainments will award a gift for any

9:30am–4:pm: Competition starts on a 6mats area, pools, then tables,
eliminatory and the repechage till around 04:00pm.
4:30pm: 3rd rank selection – 6 mats: Pre-Cadets, cadets, seniors men
5:15pm: Finals on 1 mat: Pre-Cadets, cadets, seniors men.
6:30pm: Presentation of teams and award ceremony.
7:00pm: Buffet for club managers, VIP, referees and organisers.

RULES, 14th international team tournament 8th October 2016
ARTICLE 1 The tournament organized by the Chilly-Mazarin/Morangis Judo Club and the Essonne League is a one day competition of club teams, labelled by the French Judo Federation (6 competition mats areas are available). Each club may be composed of: - a Pre-Cadets team - a cadets team - a team composed of men seniors/juniors The Essonne league is allowed to submit one team per category. ARTICLE 2 Each team will be ranked by categories. The "Overall Challenge" will reward the club with the best overall results. The results of the three age categories will be taken into account. ARTICLE 3 A club is allowed to have only one team in each age category, but 3 teams are not necessary to participate. A club is allowed to participate with only one senior team for example. The organizing club is the only one allowed to engage several teams in each category. ARTICLE 4 The tournament is a clubs contest. However, 1 “external” judoka by team and by category is allowed and 2 judokas for the Cadets. Every judoka has to: - Justify a valid judo national licence for the current year, with the club’s name on it, - Present a medical certificate saying that they are able to participate within the year licence - Present a proof of identity (I.D Card for E.U citizens or Passport)
ARTICLE 5 Coaches with excessive loud coaching will be forbidden to coach on the mat area ARTICLE 6 Composition of the teams:

ARTICLE 7 One kilo (kg) tolerance is allowed The competitors will be registered in the category corresponding to their weight at the time of the weight-in only. (no weight outclassing permitted). Weight-in and ID control (passport or ID Card) will be performed at the same time for all members of a same team before the contest starts. ARTICLE 8 The tournament is organized around two stages. The first (eliminatory) is constituted of pools. Each pool is composed of 3 or 4 teams. The two first ranked teams are qualified for the second (final) stage. (classical final table with single “repechage”). The "draw" will be done after the weight control, in front of the club’s representatives. For the presentation, the teams must appear in the order of their weight categories. The order of the fights is defined by a first draw for the pools and a second draw for the finals.

ARTICLE 9 Development of the tournament: on a 6 mats area. Duration of the fights:

Men seniors 5 minutes National rules for team competitions: - two competitors per team are allowed in
each weight category, - outclassing:
• Juniors/seniors Men teams: The club’s leader may choose the first or the second competitor in turn in his weight category or the immediate upper one.
• Pre-Cadets and cadets teams : Weight outclassing is strictly forbidden. - The clubs’ coach will have to give the tournament officials the list of his team competitors before each turn of the competition. - The five contests will have to be played. When a team has won 3 fights, then the coach has the opportunity to change competitors for the 2 remaining fights. ARTICLE 10 The first club which is announced must present a full team and present: - with a white judogi and a red belt - or with a blue judogi.
ARTICLE 11 Refereeing: Ile de France Judo’s committee. The referees’ coordination will be organized after the tournament "draw". ARTICLE 12 In case of equality at the end of the contest’s time, the golden score rule will apply. Special conditions for team competitions: If two teams have the same number of wins and points, a second round will be played. In case of a new equality, a weigh-in category will be drawn. The winner of this contest will be appointed winner of the game. ARTICLE 13 Draw: Criteria taken into account to determine seeded teams: 1. Men Juniors/seniors’ teams
• Ranking of the first five best teams of the European club championships 2016, then the ranking of France team Championship 1st division.
• Separating teams coming from the Essonne. • Separating all foreign teams as much as
possible. 2. Cadets teams
• The first five best teams of the 2015/2016 France team championship,
• Separating teams coming from the Essonne. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE Medical staff of league Essonne Judo will be on the spot all along the competition.
