This kit consists of O.E.M. parts and is intended to be installed on O.E.M. transmission shafts.

Please take note of the information and instructions below.

Assembly: Before you throw any packaging away, make sure you received all the necessary

hardware:

Tip: Keep each part with its original packaging until they’re installed to eliminate any confusion.

STEP 1

Begin by removing the circlips and gears from Mainshaft. [Fig .1]

(NOTE: Remove the gears, circlips and washers from the shaft. Lay the parts out in the order they

are removed from the shaft. [Fig .2])

Note: Assembly of this kit requires Molybdenum

Disulfide Grease or equivalent.

STEP 2

Begin by removing the circlips and gears from the Countershaft. [Fig .3] & [Fig .4]

(Note: Remove the gears, circlips and washers from the shaft. Lay the parts out in the order

they are removed from the shaft. [Fig .5]) Note: It is not necessary to remove 2nd gear from

the countershaft as it will not be replaced.

STEP 3

Once the transmission shafts have all of the gears removed from them take the new

transmission gears & circlips and set them next to the existing gears that will be replaced

[Fig .6] Remove old gears 3, 4, and 5 with circlips from the assembly layout. Replace them

with the provided replacement gears and circlips. [Fig .7]

STEP 4

Before re-assembling the Transmission, apply Molybdenum Disulfide Grease to the inner diameter of

each gear. [Fig .8]

Re-assemble the Counter shaft with the new gears and circlips. [Fig .9] You can refer to the OEM

parts diagram located on page 6 for order of installation.

Re-assemble the Main shaft with the new gears and circlips. [Fig .10] Again, if needed refer to diagram

on page 6 of instructions.

With the transmission re-assembled, install into motor. For your reference, we have a general dirt bike
