A: Ottawa University for football. A: A lot. The weight room is like a second home. A: The game will be a lot faster. I’ll have to invest a lot more time into college football. A: Knowing that I get to play football for four more years at a higher level. Q: How do you think collegiate sports will compare to high school sports? Q: How much work did you put in to football to be at the level you are? Q: What makes signing with a college exciting? Q: What is a tip you have for other athletes trying to get an ath- letic scholarship? A: Work hard and don’t give up. Q: What other offers did you have? A: My top three were Ottawa, Benedictine and Mid-America, but there were a lot of out-of-state colleges and community col- leges that wanted me. Q: Why did you choose Ottawa University? A: I chose Ottawa mainly because it’s close to home and I think I fit its program really well. Q: What are you looking forward to most about playing col- lege sports? A: The competition and the hard work it will take to compete against other colleges. Q : What college did you sign with? A: Baker University for Softballl. Q: What makes signing with a college exciting ? A: Pretty exciting because it is fulfilling my dream to go play college sports. Q: How much work did you put in to softball to be at the level you are? A: A lot, I started when I was 7 and have played ever since. Q: What is a tip you have for other athletes trying to get an ath- letic scholarship? A: School always comes first. Q: How do you think collegiate sports will compare to high school sports? A: The game will be a lot faster. There is also a lot more work involved. Q: What other offers did you have? A: MidAmerica Nazerene, but Baker was always my first choice. Q: Why did you choose Baker University? A: I chose Baker because it is close to home and it has a really good education program. Q: What are you looking forward to most about playing col- lege sports? A: I get to meet new people, I really like the coach and all the road trips. Q : What college did you sign with? A: It is faster, but is the same level for me because I have been playing with guys and I will get to play with other girls now. Q: How do you think collegiate sports will compare to high school sports? Q: How much work did you put in to soccer to be at the level you are? A: Quite a bit. I play year-round soccer with a city league and in the winter I play with some of the school team and coaches. A: Start contacting coaches as soon as possible because they give out their scholarships pretty early on. Q: What other offers did you have? A: Independence Community College and Barton Community College were among a few. Q: Why did you choose Ottawa University? A: I chose Ottawa mainly because they offered the best schol- arship and because the coaches and player I have met are amazing. Q: What are you looking forward to most about playing col- lege sports?
