Jefferson County District Judge Gary L. Nafziger on June 5 sentenced Armando J. Jimenez, Eudora, to serve 32 months in prison for residential burglary, a Level 7 non-person felony, and six months in prison for theft, a Level 9 non-person felony. The sentences are to run concurrently. Before handing down the sentences, Nafziger took the time to start counting the pre-vious convictions on Jimenez’s criminal history report and had gotten up to 31 when he decided to go no further. The other 10 charges against him contained in the amended complaint then in play, a second count of residen-tial burglary, three counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, a Level 9 non-person felony, four more counts of felony theft, one count of theft, a Class A non-person misdemeanor, and one count of criminal damage to property, a Class B non-person misdemeanor, were dismissed pursuant to a plea agreement. Assistant County Attorney Ryan Kriegshauser represented the state at the proceeding. Jimenez was originally charged with one count of resi-dential burglary, two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle and four counts of felony theft.
