ELPS PTO Photo More than 'mud bugs 9 Those who took advantage of "Mud Bugs & Music" last Saturday enjoyed visiting and "refreshments" along with the food and entertainment. Law Alamo St. in regards to a past assault. The case is open for investigation. At 9 a.m., Officer Wiese was con- tacted by a complainant at the PD in regards to harassment which was tak- ing place out in the county. The infor- mation was forwarded to the Colorado County Sheriff's office. At 1:05 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to the Dollar General Store in regards to problems with a customer. The case was cleared by issuance of a criminal trespass warning. At 1:10 p.m., Officer Wiese met with a complainant at the PD in regards to a civil matter. At 2 p.m., Sgt. Thompson was con- tacted by the First State Bank regard- ing a forgery. The case is open for in- vestigation. At 3:05 p.m., Officer Wiese was contacted by a complainant at the PD in regards to an unwanted subject. The subject was later located and issued a criminal trespass warning. At 3:20 p.m., Officer Wiese met with Tanya Shorter who turned herself in at the PD on an outstanding Eagle Lake Municipal Court warrant. Shorter was processed and transported to the CCDC for confinement. At 4:45 p.m., Officer Wiese was contacted at the PD by a complainant in regards to forged checks. The case is open for investigation. At 5:25 p.m., Sgt. Thompson was contacted by a Gonzales County pro- bation officer in regards to a past al- leged assault which had occurred at the Colorado County Juvenile Detention Facility. The case is open for investi- gation. At 7 p.m., Officer Lasley was dis- patched to the 400 block of FM 3013 west in regards to a theft. The case is open for investigation. At 9:15 p.m., Officer Lasley was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Stock- bridge St. in regards to a barking dog. The dog was not located. At 10:40 p.m., Officer Lasley was patrolling in the 400 block of Church St. when he located a disturbance. Eric Johnson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Johnson was transported to the PD where he was processed and transported to the CCDC for confinement. May 3, at 8:48 a.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to Buc-ee's in regards to a gas drive-off. Information was re- ceived. At 9:51 a.m., Officer Wiese and Chief W.E. Lattimore were dispatched to the 400 block of S. Austin Rd. by Medic 3 in regards to an inquest. At 3:08 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to B&B Conoco in regards to a gas drive-off. Information was re- ceived. At 7:15 p.m., Officer Lasley and Sgt. Thompson were dispatched to the 100 block of Justin Way in regards to a dispute. The matter was resolved a scene. At 7:38 p.m., Officer Lasley met Newsbriefs Continued from Page 3 with a complainant at the El Zarape Bar in regards to a civil matter. Informa- tion was received. At 9:22 p.m., Officer Lasley was dispatched to the Heritage House Nurs- ing Home in regards to one of the resi- dents hearing noises outside. He check- ed the area, but no one was located. May 4, at 2:02 p.m., Officer Wiese was called to the PD to meet with a complainant regarding a loose dog. Information was received. At 6:56 p.m., Sgt. Thompson and Officer Lasley were dispatched to the 500 block of Keith St. in regards to a disturbance. Melvin Robinson was ar- rested for Class A assault, family vio- lence, and transported to the PD where he was processed. A computer check revealed Robinson also had an out- standing Colorado County warrant for theft of a firearm. Robinson was pro- cessed and transported to the CCDC for confinement. At 8:58 p.m., Officer Lasley was dispatched to the 1200 block of Schley St. in regards to an unwanted person. The case is open pending issuance of criminal trespass warning. May 5, at 12:05 a.m., Officer Lasley met with a complainant at the PD in regards to a civil matter. At 9:29 a.m., Officer Terrazas met with a complainant at the PD in regards to damaged property. Information was received. At 11:55 a.m., Chief Lattimore was flagged down at Jones and Main St. in regards to a minor accident. Informa- tion was received. At 4:59 p.m., Officer Terrazas met with Odillon Carrillo at the PD. Car- rillo turned himself in on an injury to a child warrant which had been issued by Judge Larry Dulany following a joint investigation conducted by the ELPD and Children's Protective Ser- vices. Carrillo was processed and trans- ported to the CCDC for confinement. At 6:12 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to the City Park near the E.H. Henry building in regards to loud music. The music was turned down. At 6:37 p.m., Officer Alderete ini- tiated a traffic stop in the 600 block of C Street. Sharita Gipson was arrested on an outstanding Harris County war- rant for fraud as well as two outstand- ing Eagle Lake Municipal Court war- rants. Gipson was transported to the PD where she was processed, then trans- ported to the CCDC for confinement. At 8:20 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to Partridge Lane in regards to a person on a medical scooter. The person was located, identified and warned. At 10:50 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to the 1200 block of North St. in regards to loud music. The mu- sic was turned down. May 6, at 9:34 a.m., Officer Terra- zas met with a complainant in the 700 block of S. McCarty Ave. in regards to 18-wheelers driving in the downtown area. Information was received. Those who took advantage of "Mud Bugs & Music" last Saturday enjoyed visiting and "refreshments" along with the food and entertainment.

At 9 a.m., Officer Wiese was con- tacted by a complainant at the PD in regards to harassment which was tak- ing place out in the county. The infor- mation was forwarded to the Colorado County Sheriff's office.

At 1:05 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to the Dollar General Store in regards to problems with a customer. The case was cleared by issuance of a criminal trespass warning.

At 1:10 p.m., Officer Wiese met with a complainant at the PD in regards to a civil matter.

At 2 p.m., Sgt. Thompson was con- tacted by the First State Bank regard- ing a forgery. The case is open for in- vestigation.

At 3:05 p.m., Officer Wiese was contacted by a complainant at the PD in regards to an unwanted subject. The subject was later located and issued a criminal trespass warning.

At 3:20 p.m., Officer Wiese met with Tanya Shorter who turned herself in at the PD on an outstanding Eagle Lake Municipal Court warrant. Shorter was processed and transported to the CCDC for confinement.

At 4:45 p.m., Officer Wiese was contacted at the PD by a complainant in regards to forged checks. The case is open for investigation.

At 5:25 p.m., Sgt. Thompson was contacted by a Gonzales County pro- bation officer in regards to a past al- leged assault which had occurred at the Colorado County Juvenile Detention Facility. The case is open for investi- gation.

At 7 p.m., Officer Lasley was dis- patched to the 400 block of FM 3013 west in regards to a theft. The case is open for investigation.

At 9:15 p.m., Officer Lasley was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Stock- bridge St. in regards to a barking dog. The dog was not located.

At 10:40 p.m., Officer Lasley was patrolling in the 400 block of Church St. when he located a disturbance. Eric Johnson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Johnson was transported to the PD where he was processed and transported to the CCDC for confinement.

May 3, at 8:48 a.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to Buc-ee's in regards to a gas drive-off. Information was re- ceived.

At 9:51 a.m., Officer Wiese and Chief W.E. Lattimore were dispatched to the 400 block of S. Austin Rd. by Medic 3 in regards to an inquest.

At 3:08 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to B&B Conoco in regards to a gas drive-off. Information was re- ceived.

At 7:15 p.m., Officer Lasley and Sgt. Thompson were dispatched to the 100 block of Justin Way in regards to a dispute. The matter was resolved a scene.

May 4, at 2:02 p.m., Officer Wiese was called to the PD to meet with a complainant regarding a loose dog. Information was received.

At 6:56 p.m., Sgt. Thompson and Officer Lasley were dispatched to the 500 block of Keith St. in regards to a disturbance. Melvin Robinson was ar- rested for Class A assault, family vio- lence, and transported to the PD where he was processed. A computer check revealed Robinson also had an out- standing Colorado County warrant for theft of a firearm. Robinson was pro- cessed and transported to the CCDC for confinement.

At 8:58 p.m., Officer Lasley was dispatched to the 1200 block of Schley St. in regards to an unwanted person. The case is open pending issuance of criminal trespass warning.

May 5, at 12:05 a.m., Officer Lasley met with a complainant at the PD in regards to a civil matter.

At 9:29 a.m., Officer Terrazas met with a complainant at the PD in regards to damaged property. Information was received.

At 11:55 a.m., Chief Lattimore was flagged down at Jones and Main St. in regards to a minor accident. Informa- tion was received.

At 4:59 p.m., Officer Terrazas met with Odillon Carrillo at the PD. Car- rillo turned himself in on an injury to a child warrant which had been issued by Judge Larry Dulany following a joint investigation conducted by the ELPD and Children's Protective Ser- vices. Carrillo was processed and trans- ported to the CCDC for confinement.

At 6:12 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to the City Park near the E.H. Henry building in regards to loud music. The music was turned down.

At 6:37 p.m., Officer Alderete ini- tiated a traffic stop in the 600 block of C Street. Sharita Gipson was arrested on an outstanding Harris County war- rant for fraud as well as two outstand- ing Eagle Lake Municipal Court war- rants. Gipson was transported to the PD where she was processed, then trans- ported to the CCDC for confinement.

At 8:20 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to Partridge Lane in regards to a person on a medical scooter. The person was located, identified and warned.

At 10:50 p.m., Officer Wiese was dispatched to the 1200 block of North St. in regards to loud music. The mu- sic was turned down.

May 6, at 9:34 a.m., Officer Terra- zas met with a complainant in the 700 block of S. McCarty Ave. in regards to 18-wheelers driving in the downtown area. Information was received.
