The European Season comes to an end today with the final of the Gold Cup in Sotogrande, Spain. Two great teams will play this afternoon, the match is at 6pm Spanish time, noon on the East Coast of the United States, 9 am on the West Coast, Winner of the Bronze and Silver Cup Valiente vs. Ellerston. The match will be streamed live on pololine.tv and Hurlingham.com.

This game was tied at the end of each of the second through the fourth chukker, then 9 to 9. During those chukkers most of the goals were scored from the penalty line. In the 5th chukker Marcos Onetto broke the trend scoring 4 goals along with a penalty 1 to bring the Taylor Hill Farm Team to 14. PJ Orthwein scored the only goal in the 5th chukker, a penalty 2, for The Red Maple/ Christmas Tree Farm team, the score 14-10, with no goal in the sixth, for the win, Taylor Hill Farm. The final is tomorrow Sunday, Taylor Hill Farm versus Barefield Polo. (Game report by Allan Shaffer)
