Gearbox and final drive reassembly begins, careful checking that all components are

clean and tolerances set, we don’t want bearings and shafts to wind up and seize. Gearbox bearings are all replaced as a matter of course, while the gears are checked for

broken or worn teeth, replaced as required, new gaskets everywhere nuts and bolts cleaned and replaced as required.
