He sent us a leer this week and nice card thanking Mike Davidson for being the only one to write to him. His leer explained that he was an atheist. Aſter me in the "hole" with only a Bible study and personal leer to read, Ryan W. accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior! Isn’t God great? I am so grateful for all the ministry our people do outside the walls of the church as you serve Jesus in the community. This Sunday, we connue our series, When God Crosses His Heart. We will be thinking together about God’s promise to instruct His people. I don’t know about you, but I need all the help and instrucon I can get. See you Sunday. Your Pastor, John

Proclaim is just around the corner! Please continue praying and make plans to be here each service. Sunday night will be at Farmer’s Market. These four days will allow us the opportunity to grow in our devotion and invite others to hear the good news. It is going to be great!

Several of our people are engaged on Sunday nights and during the week with the Garage Church here in town. Recently, one of our members, Mike Davidson, helped lead an imprisoned man to Jesus. Here’s how Pastor Mike Prince tells the story:

He sent us a letter this week and nice card thanking Mike Davidson for being the only one to write to him. His letter explained that he was an atheist. After time in the "hole" with only a Bible study and personal letter to read, Ryan W. accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior!

Isn’t God great? I am so grateful for all the ministry our people do outside the walls of the church as you serve Jesus in the community. Until we all fall down, Wallace

Remote Parking Starts Sunday! We anticipate the ground work for our new parking lot will begin on the “Back 40 – Grassy Lot” this week. So, since we have been maxing our parking on site, we need to do remote parking as before. We will probably only have to do it for a few weeks. This is even more im-portant since we have heard people have driven off recently since they couldn’t find a parking spot. So, starting Sunday 30 minutes before the first service, from 8:30-9am and after Connect Groups and the 2nd service 11:30-Noon, we have drivers who will use a church van to give people rides to and from our remote parking locations. Several businesses located just 2½ blocks from the church at 301 & 316 St. Louis have given permission for us to park on their lots. The Shuttle Van will run a continuous loop between the lots on both sides and our church. Please just come and help us out! It will also help for families to carpool and not take Guest spots! Please respect all the handicapped spots. Even if you still have a handicapped license or mirror hanger, don’t use them if you don’t need them any longer. We always seem to be short on these. If you are having a hard time finding a spot, our Safety Team Guys with the orange vests on will help you find a spot.

September’s emphasis is Revival Preparation! Please Pray for Spiritual Revival in our souls! Also follow up on those you have been praying for and built relationships with during “More Than A Face” and invite them to Proclaim!

We will encourage Prayer as the key to Revival for the weeks leading up to it. We can do it as individuals & families, in Prayer meeting, in Connect Groups, and we encourage each Connect Group to host Home prayer meetings. Please use the half-sheet Prayer Guide John has pre-pared as a starting place. (Available at the Welcome Center). Call the office with your meeting times please. We are asking each Connect Group to set their own attendance goal for Sept. 25, to encourage ownership and accountability for group to work toward it. We will total the goals and expect a new record attend-ance over 1200. Use the Goal Card provided and turn it in this Sunday at the Welcome Center. We encourage you to contact all the prospects on your list. We need some Olympic Outreach! We will provide Invite Cards to use as you go. Then follow up on those they prayed for and built relationships with during the year and invite them. We encourage your Connect Groups to engage in a service project to new prospects. (Let us know).
