Research Paper Acrylic paint is a versatile medium that has been used throughout its rather short history by

many artists to produce their magnificent works. There are many skills, techniques, and tools needed to produce an aesthetically pleasing piece of artwork using the combination of color, composition, and technique in harmony. Paint makers such as Sam Golden had problems such as paint drying to fast while

trying to invent the painting medium which resulted in a long development process to get it just right.

Artist whom pioneered the medium when it was in its first stages of development include Jackson Pollock, know for his large scale drip paintings and Kenneth Noland known for his abstract color field paintings.

Conclusion This project was helpful for me learn to hone artistic skills I had prior to this

project. I feel this would be an area I wish to further my education along with other

artistic media such as photography and cinematography. Since this project I have taken up painting as a hobby to pass my extra time.
