After the great success of 1st International Exhibition, Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) and ChinaOverseas Ports Holding Company (COPHC) have launched another Mega Event which was

held on March 28th - 29th, 2019 in Gwadar, Pakistan.

"The Government is determined to bring progressto Balochistan and developed Balochistan means aprosperous Pakistan", the Honourable PrimeMinister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.EImran Khan said on Friday 29th March 2019.

Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony at GwadarPort, he said "Bridges will be built for fishermensimultaneously the construction of Gwadar PortEastbay Expressway".

The students of Government Girls High School Mullah Band Gwadar, paid a visit to Gwadar Portto see its operational work environment and to observe its operational mechanism for thedevelopment of Gwadar region. The team was accompanied by the school staff and was

briefed on the various functions of Gwadar Port and its allied structures.

STUDY TOUR 0F SCHQOLS STl!JDENTS TO GWADAR PORT

The Social Sector team of GPA is actively working under the guidance of Chairman GPA.The team has taken an initiative and started an awareness programme for students of Gwadar,pertinent to the operational activities and current projects of Gwadar Port. In this context, thestudents of Global Grammar School Gwadar, CMB School Gwadar, Newtown Grammar SchoolGwadar and Government High School Turbat visited Gwadar Port. The overall management

was made by China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Support Unit, GPA.

AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS


The Chairman GPA, Mr. Nase'er Khan Kashani thanked the officers and officials fororganizing such a wonderful event and suggested that such tradition should bemaintained in future. He said that he would continue his support to all officers andofficials for the betterment of GPA. The function was followed by dinner and groupphotographs. Chairman and a vote of thanks.

Director (P&D), Engineer M. Daud Balochshared his thoughts with the audience andsaid that due to the visionary leadership of ExChairman, Gwadar Port Authority wasfunctioning smoothly. His services, herendered so far, would always be remembered.He warmly welcomed the new Chairman, Mr.Naseer Khan Kashani and extended his fullsupport for all the projects and expected thesame pace of works would be continued.

On the 1st March 2019, the employees of GPA organized a party to bid farewell to the ExChairman GPA, Mr. Dostain Khan Jamaldini and welcome the new Chairman GPA, Mr. Naseer

Khan Kashani. The function began with the recitation from the Holy Quran.

The Ex Chairman, Mr. Dostain Khan Jamaldini,addressing to the employees has said that GPA isprogressing by leaps and bounds. Sustainabledevelopment can be achieved by joint efforts.Infact, joint contributions of all the stakeholdershave played a constructive role for thedevelopment of Gwadar Port. He expressed hisdeep love and gratitude to the employees of GPAfor their co-operation and support.

FAREWELL AND WELCOME PARTY


It is with great shock that we received the news of the sad anduntimely demise of Mr. Abdul Rasool, who was serving asSecurity Guard in Gwadar Port Authority, on 1st September,2019. On behalf of Gwadar Port Authority, we convey ourheartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, friendsand colleagues of (Late) Abdul Rasool.

May Almighty Allah rest his soul in eternal peace! Amen.

It is with great shock that we received the news of the sadand untimely demise of Mr. Khadim Hussain Umrani, whowas serving as Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in GwadarPort Authority, on 9th July 2019 at Liaquat NationalHospital Karachi, where he was undergoing treatment. Onbehalf of Gwadar Port Authority, we convey our heartfeltcondolences to the bereaved family, relatives, friends andcolleagues of (Late) Khadim Hussain Umrani.
