The Pallet Rack Safety Gate is a self-closing,
dual gate system designed to fit existing rack systems. Simply forklift
palletized material through the gates and back away. The spring
loaded gate system self-closes along the platform edge, protecting
personnel from dangerous falls.
The Safety Gate meets OSHA railing standards including a 42” high
gate and safety toe board. This gate system is ideal for elevated pick
modules with pallet flow systems, elevated working platforms and
mezzanines.

SAFE, SELF-CLOSING GATE Complies with OSHA Safety Railing Standard 1910.23(a)(2) including a 42″ high gate and mid-rail. Dual gate system is always in place, allowing one-way pallet flow while protecting employees from the mezzanine edge. Gates self-close by spring-loaded hinge.
QUICK INSTALLATION
Universal mounting brackets are compatible with any existing rack system and installs in minutes. Gates bolt on to railing system, no drilling required. Multi-bay configurations utilize shared mounting bracket. Available in standard sizes to fit 60″ wide and 96″ wide openings (custom sizing available).
DURABLE & ECONOMICAL Durable mild steel gate construction with powder coat safety yellow finish. Stainless steel torsion springs are ideal for repetitive use and requires little or no maintenance. Economical cost.

Interior & Exterior Hinge Mounts

The interior hinge allows the gate to be mounted by penetrating the existing rivets of your safety rack posts.
The exterior hinge allows the gate to be mounted around the intermediate or existing post, without penetrating the post.

Intermediate Unit
An intermediate unit is used when you are attaching two gates to an existing post. STEP 1 : Choose type of Unit – Intermediate. STEP 2 : Choose how you would like the Hinges to be mounted onto your existing post – Interior or Exterior Mount. STEP 3 : Measure and select the Opening Width you wish to cover (60″ or 96″), depending upon your application. STEP 4 : Order the appropriate quantities required to set up the Pallet Rack Gate for your fall protection needs.

End Units (Left & Right Mount)
An end unit is used when you are attaching a gate to an existing post at the end of the platform or mezzanine to end a straight run, also acting as a finishing kit. STEP 1 : Choose type of Unit – Left Mount or Right Mount. STEP 2 : Choose how you would like the Hinges to be mounted onto your existing post – Interior or Exterior Mount. STEP 3 : Measure and select the Opening Width you wish to cover (60″ or 96″), depending upon your application. STEP 4 : Order the appropriate quantities required to set up the Pallet Rack Gate for your fall protection needs.

Standard Technical Data
INSTALLATION STEPS: 1. Attach mounting bracket to existing racking system at desired height. Secure gate to
rack post using U-bolts. 2. Adjust stop bolts for proper gate alignment. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for additional gates.
MATERIAL: Standard Dimensions: 60" or 96" opening width. Gate: Formed 1-1/4" square, 11-gauge steel tubing; 18-gauge mild steel sheeting factory
welded in place; includes two (2) 3/8" stop bolts, zinc-plated. Hinge Post: 10-gauge mild steel. Torsion Springs: 17-7 stainless steel torsion springs ensure safe and consistent operation;
includes eight (8) torsion springs per gate system. Gate Operation: Allows for 90° travel.
HARDWARE: Standard mounting hardware includes zinc-plated U-bolts, washers and nuts.
FINISHES: Finish on all exposed surfaces to be powder coat safety yellow.
PERFORMANCE RATING: Engineered and tested to comply with OSHA Standards 1910.28 and 1910.29, relative to
guarding openings, at the time of manufacture.
