Background The Palmiet Rehabilitation Project (PRP)
Proof concept project for the UIEP.
A shared-governance climate change adaptation-oriented project
to improve efficacy of ecological infrastructure & build community resilience.

Way Forward

extend their support on the project.
• The Climate Protection Branch has accepted the R5 Million
Aqueduct funding.
• Identify critical and catalytic EI projects and develop a project plan
towards the funds.
• A peer-review publication to evaluate the project.
