Jews

The Jews were treated like animals while at the concentration camps.

Women had their head shaved and been given rags to where.

They were separated from the man and children. Most never saw their family ever again.

They were also put into showers that would either pour water, acid or gas. The victims never knew.

Panni was born on 1915 in the small town of Eger in Northern Hungary. She was the fourth and final daughter.

They lived in a yellow-star house and were later moved into the Ghetto, Hungary.

Panni and her three other sisters married. Two of the husbands died from forced labor and another died from sickness.

Panni’s Husband survived the forced labor. And they both moved away to hide from the Nazis.

Panni’s sister Boszi, her daughter and parents were taken to Auschwitz.

Boszi was the only survivor of her family that left Auschwitz. But she never saw her daughter or parents again.

Panni now lives in Budapest, Hungary. She joined the Communist party and lived to see her children marry.
