Dear PAOS Members and Friends:
March is just two weeks away and we have so much to
prepare for.
March is our Annual Auction month and the team is
already working hard to ensure this year’s event is as
successful as last year’s—if not better!
As usual, we count on your support to broadcast the
event, help with auctions flowers and items for the drawings.
And don’t forget to bring guests. Their presence enrich our
event by increasing our exposure, gives us new perspective
and may result in new memberships!
And, BREAKING NEWS: Bob and Mike, the owners of R.F. Orchids, Inc., have given our
Society the endorsement to use their gorgeous gardens to host our very own orchid show!

This Month at PAOS Next meeting:

Pinecrest, FL 33156 Peter Kouchalakos is back! This time he will be talking about how
to grow orchids and a few other details.
Some of us met Peter for the first time last August, and he is back
to share some more of this knowledge and experiences with PAOS
members.
Peter found his love and future partner, Clara, passion for orchids,
and a career all together many years ago. PCK Orchids and Exotic
Plants became a reality a few years later.
Peter Kouchalakos and Clara sell their plants at the Coral
Gables Farmer’s Market, festivals and shows. Peter calls himself the
Johnny Appleseed of orchids. In an interview for the Miami Herald,
March 2015: “I just want to spread the joy,” he said. “I’m lucky to get
to do what I love and get paid for it.”
