Making of the constitution and its Salient features, Constitutional bodies, Statutory bodies, Judiciary ,

Executive, Elections, Political parties ,Fundamental duties and fundamental rights, Sources of Constitution

4. Basic Science

Properties of matter, Heat, Sound, Optics, Semiconductors, Cell Biology, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology,

Diseases and defense mechanism

5. Current Affairs

Current Affairs from January 2019 to September 2019

PAPER –II APTITUDE TEST (Qualifying Paper)

1. General English

a) Comprehension

Students should be able to read and understand the idea

conveyed in the paragraph and answer the questions given.

b) Basic Grammar

Sentence correction & arrangement of meaningful sentences.

2. Quantitative Aptitude

Numbers, Test of divisibility, Ratio and Proportions, Time and Work, Percentage, Profit and

Loss, Average, Area & Volume, Simple Interest & Compound Interest etc.

3. Mental Ability

Series, Calendar, Ranking, Analogy, Classification, Clock, Problem on Ages, Blood relation,

Seating arrangement etc.

Paper 2 is a qualifying exam . i.e.; marks scored will not be added to the total prelims score.

But candidates should secure 30 marks for qualifying this paper.

Otherwise Paper 1 will not be evaluated.
