BRIEF ABOUT OUR CHP
• NSPCL, Bhilai expansion project has
2 X 250 MW capacity.
• Its coal handling plant is designed
by TRF with Track-Hopper and one
no. wagon Tippler
• Track hopper was designed for
BOBRN wagons
• It is having Radial Stacker &
Reclaimer-one of its own kind..

hopper wall used to get blocked by big size coal lumps
• obstructing the free movement of wagon tippler leading to extra time for unloading. Obstruction got removed

Passage for JCB movement • Before modification-
After unloading of coal the area used to be covered with boulders and lumps,
No provision of any space at entry/exit of wagon tippler area for movement of JCB or skid steer loader.
• After modification-
A passage for movement JCB or skid steer loader from both sides.
Enables speedy evacuation of big size coal lumps and boulders, etc.

• Reduction in cycle time from 4 minute to 3 minutes.
• Rise in no. of wagons getting unloaded from 12 to 18 per hour.

• Preparedness at our end became adequate with fast communication by agency
• Suitable financial penalty in case of large big-sized boulders
