Black Skin, White Masks”

• Is a book about the mindset or psychology of racism by – Frantz Fanon

• He was Martinican psychiatrist and black post colonialist thinker.

IT IS WELL WORTH READING SINCE HIS UNDERSTANDING OF WHITE FRENCH RACISM IN THE

EARLYChapter 1: The Black Man and LanguageChapter 2:The woman of Colour and the White Man.Chapter 3: The Man of Colour and the White Woman.Chapter 4:The So-Called Dependency Complex of the Colonized.Chapter 5:The Lived Experience of the Black Man.Chapter 6:The Black Man and Psychopathology Chapter 7: The Black Man and Recognition

If we refer to chapter 1:“The Black Man and Language”•It says that if you do not learn the white man’s language perfectly, you are unintelligence washed your brain in their universe of racist ideas. •MJ (Michael Jackson) had learned that language very well and he was writing and singing songs in English Language .•Thinking like Englishman.

IT IS WELL WORTH READING SINCE HIS UNDERSTANDING OF WHITE FRENCH RACISM IN THE

EARLYChapter 5:The Lived Experience of the Black Man.

Frantz Fanon wants to be a man. But in white world in which he lives his skin colour becomes everything more important than even his education and achievements.

He is seen not as Dr. Fanon but as a black man who is a doctor.

White people do not see him, they see his body.“Always a Negro, never a man.”Black knows what white’s are thinking about them and

Whites feel that they are superior and blacks are inferior. Fanon:

A feeling of inferiority ? No, a feeling of not existing Sin is black as virtue is white.
