Thank you for downloading our mini E-book Taming the Paperwork

Monster! In this book we have included just a few forms that may help you

in the classroom:

Types of Paperwork to Organize: This will help you categorize the

types of paperwork you have to organize  Organization Checklist : This is a classroom checklist that will help

you determine how organized you really are.

IEP Paperwork Manager Book Cover/Spine: This will help you create

a book to help manage all of your IEPs.

Form to Organize IEP Calendar Dates: This will help you keep up

with all of those IEP dates

IEP Meeting Forms Checklist : This checklist is taped on a red/colored

folder at every IEP meeting. You then can keep all of the originals

and paperwork that is signed at the meeting in this folder and check

it off. This will help you keep up with all of the paperwork that is

required at every IEP meeting.

Lesson Plan Book Cover/Spine: Here is an extra thrown in to also

help you create a cute Lesson Plan notebook out of a 3ring binder

We hope you enjoy using this book and that it will make your job a little

easier this year.

Is there a manageable way of keeping up with

the calendar dates for IEP meetings?

Is there a manageable way of easily organizing

all of the required paperwork for the IEP

meetings for your caseload?

Are IEP meetings run professionally and as

required – complete with all necessary

paperwork components?

Is there a Lesson plan template that works?

Are the Lesson plans organized and easily

accessible to those who need them?

Do substitutes have easy access to Lesson plans

and other needed information in an emergency

situation?

Is there a system of organization for grading and

analyzing student work?

Organization of IEP & Paperwork Checklist

Is the classroom free from Paperwork clutter

 – everything having a place?

Is there a system in place so that the

students can independently assist with the

management of their own paperwork?

Suggestions for Use of

IEP Paperwork Manager

Use with Customizable 3-ring binder

Use with a Notebook color (neon green,

bright yellow, red, etc.) that is

different from all others – color coded

to help see this as IEP Paperwork.

Use the same color with folders for IEP

papers. The checklist for the front of

this is included in this handout packet.

Place heavy duty plastic pockets inside

for papers you use often

Have sections with index tabs and

pockets for individual students. Include

in these pockets paperwork that you

need for each IEP. You may have

several pockets per child and can keep

up with all of the paperwork as you

collect it and finish it – per child.

Include a calendar of IEP dates
