Ong Hock Tek (“HT”) is a Fellow of nine professional ins�tu�ons, a well-qualified mul�- disciplinary and specialist consultant, over 30 years of working experience with architects, quan�ty surveyors, project managers, civil engineering/building contractors and specialist consultants. He has been a Mediator, Arbitrator and current Panel Adjudicator of AIAC, SIArb Panel Arbitrator, Accredited Mediator, Value Manager and Cer�fied Construc�on Project Manager of Construc�on Industry Development Board (CIDB), past Deputy President of CIOB Malaysia, Past President of Lighthouse Club, past 1st Treasurer-General and current ADR Chair (QS Div.) of Royal Ins�tu�on of Surveyors Malaysia. His specific experience/exper�se include construc�on project /contracts management, quan�ty surveying, risks/value management, claims prepara�on /defense, alterna�ve dispute resolu�on (ADR), par�cularly in advisory, support services, documenta�on and proceedings. He also acts as an Arbitrator, Mediator, Nego�ator, Expert (quantum) and Party Counsel/Representa�ve on technical, commercial and contractual disputes/ differences between the contrac�ng par�es, at both main and sub-contract levels. Being a Master Trainer, HT has organised and delivered many public and in-house conferences, seminars and workshops for professional ins�tu�ons and private/public listed companies, in par�cular on construc�on contracts, ADR, risks and value management. He lectured part-�me for bachelor and master degree programmes in the same areas for several years and has been a regular ar�cle contributor to the Master Builders Journal on construc�on contract and management issues since 2002 �ll todate. He is the speaker/trainer for the annual 6 to 12 one-day seminar sessions on Prac�cal Construc�on Contract Administra�on/Management organised by Master Builders Associa�on Malaysia in collabora�on with BK Entrusty since 2015 �ll to-date. Recently, he also conducts similar 15-half day webinar module courses for Malaysian Ins�tute of Architects and Royal Ins�tu�on of Surveyors Malaysia in collabora�on with BK Entrusty.
