GUNUNG ROSA GEOLOGY
PARAMOUNT MINING
CORPORATION LTD
• The geology of the Gunung Rosa IUP licence is dominated by moderately deeply
eroded subvolcanic intrusives that are typical of mineralised systems recognised in
the porphyry-mesothermal belt of the southern Java coastal zone.
• The intrusive character of the environment is well demonstrated by associated
intrusive breccias and pebble dykes which appear to occupy the structures within
which the mineralised veins have later been emplaced.
• The host intrusives and associated breccias and dykes have locally undergone
pervasive argillic alteration during vein emplacement and the veins sit within a distinct
alteration envelope extending for at least 1.5 - 2 kilometres at the main prospect.
• The veins are typically mesothermal in character. There is good evidence for multiple
phases of metal emplacement with differing mineralogical characteristics. The
paragenesis is not fully resolved at this time; it varies locally and regionally.
• Between 1 and 5 veins occur along the strike of the main prospect area. The
mineralogy and grade of these varies along strike with Cu-rich and Pb-Zn-rich
sections, but with both carrying significant Au-Ag grades associated particularly with
pyrite-silica rich sections. There are numerous unmapped or otherwise untested
veins recognised elsewhere within the IUP.

GUNUNG ROSA HISTORY
PARAMOUNT MINING
CORPORATION LTD
• From 1989-1992 Century Metals and Mining (CMM) undertook an
extensive surface and underground drilling program and a 2,500m
underground horizontal and vertical development project
• CMM noted that the vein system is open along strike for at least a
kilometre, north and south, as well as at depth
• CMM’s project financing collapsed and development ceased
• 1996 Canadian JV partners Chase Resource Corporation and Delta
Gold Mining Corporation (Chase) completed a feasibility study and
plant design at gold price of USD400 per ounce
• The 1997 Bre-X scandal hit the headlines and Chase discontinued
its activities as it could not raise capital to support its program
• The decline was flooded to prevent access by illegal minersFor

GUNUNG ROSA PROGRAM
PARAMOUNT MINING
CORPORATION LTD
Paramount has commenced systematic drilling and underground
sampling to validate the Century exploration data and to convert the
inferred resources recognised to proven and probable reserves.
This program includes:
• Initial 6-hole due diligence diamond drilling program to confirm
vein widths and grades in recognised Century resource blocks.
Additional holes are planned to test depth extensions of
mineralisation along the 1 kilometre of recognised strike.
• Underground sampling of areas with development access to
confirm historic grades from development drives
• Regional mapping to assess potential of numerous recognised
mineralised targets to assess potential for additional resources
• Establishing a program of beneficiation and metallurgical testing
of ore by extraction of bulk samples for bench trials

GUNUNG ROSA PLAN
PARAMOUNT MINING
CORPORATION LTD
A longer term work plan is being developed to expand the resource
base to permit options for increasing production. This is to include:
• Continued drilling of an additional 10-12 assessment holes with an
emphasis on evaluating depth potential and strike continuity of
recognised mineralisation
• Developing 3D block models of resource distribution to help define
and constrain the resource model and for mine planning purposes.
• Dewatering of existing development drives and decline to enable
new sampling and development to be undertaken
• Undertake detailed underground mapping at both the main
prospect area and at the numerous satellite deposits recognised
within the IUP.
• Initiate environmental impact assessment studies to accommodate
expansion in activities at the site.
