Years pass by…… but the memory of Revered Shri .
Sardeshmukh Maharaj is very fresh in the minds of his
followers & disciples.
He was well known as Maharaj did not belong to the saffron
clad clan of people. He was one who kept a steady vigil on the
Indian tradition, Vedic sciences & the Ayurvedic science for its
growth & propagation. This unique personality was born on th25 November 1920 at Solapur. Maharaj who has been from
the jamindar family was bestowed with the membership of the
“Akkalkot Sansthan”. This multifaceted jewel stone glistened
even brighter with the blessings of His Holiness Shri Mali Maharaj since the year 1943.
Parampoojya Sardeshmukh Maharaj founded Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust in the year 1954 with
the aim of propagating valuable ancient science, like Vedas, Shastras, Purana. For this noble cause, he
donated 63 acres of land, which he owned & established “Vishwa Shanti Dham”, an abode to seek World
peace through information interchange.
The desire of rejuvenating the age –old Indian science
and having a scientific approach inspired him to start
Ayurved Hospital & Research Centre in 1985. Various
projects are conducted by Ayurved Hospital & Research
Centre like Cancer Research Project, Aids Research
Project, Panchakarma Project, Arthritis Project, Fracture &
Delayed Bone healing project to name a few. Ayurved
Mahavidyalaya, Wagholi & Atharva Ayurved
Pharmaceuticals are also the ventures of the Trust.thOn the 26 August 1996, the holy soul took Samadhi &
detached himself from the earthly World.
We wish & pray that this heavenly star continues to glisten our lives, giving us the warmth,
encouragement & guidance in our lives.

Maharashtra Udyogini Puraskar 2010
Maharashtra Udyogini Puraskar 2010 was organized by
Sakal, a leading newspaper, Maharashtra in joint venture
with MITCON. This award was given for encouragement of
successful businesswomen of Maharashtra. Half session
of this programme took place on 12/06/2010. This session
was organised by Sakal to give Health guidance to these
businesswomen who are engaged with managing their
career and home responsibilities. Dr. Shweta Gujar, Senior
Research Assistant, Cancer Research Project, Wagholi
delivered lecture on Cancer Awareness in females along with information of Cancer Research work of
Integrated cancer Treatment And Research Centre. Dr. Sukumar Sardeshmukh, Marketing & Exports
incharge, Atharva Ayurved Pharmaceuticals, Wagholi gave information about Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan
Trust and Atharva Ayurved Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Sanjay Upadhye and Dr. Nitin Unkule, Kaivalya Yoga
Institute also guided the participants about Health Awareness. Mrs. Zelam Chaubal, Director Kesari Travels;
Mr. Dhananjay Datar, Mr. Sopan Wawre, Mr. Chandrashekhar Gokhale from MITCON also graced the
occasion.
Prize distribution ceremony of “Maharashtra Udyogini Puraskar - 2010” took place at Siddhi Garden,
Mhatre Bridge, Pune on 13/06/2010. Prizes were distributed by the hands of Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh,
Director, Integrated Cancer Treatment & Research Centre, Wagholi, Pune & Padmashree Mrs. Leela
Poonawala, Chairperson, Leela Poonawala Foundation.
Both these occasions were anchored by Dr. Prachiti Suru and were sponsored by Atharva Ayurved
Pharmaceuticals, Wagholi, Pune.

Free Squint Surgery Camp
Free Squint Surgery camp was arranged at Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust ,Wagholi, in association st th
with Lions club of Kirkee, Lions club of Pune 21 Century & Pune Netraseva Pratishthan, Pune on 4 April st
2010. Around 100 patients were examined on 21 March & out of which 25-30 patients were selected for
Surgery & finally 19 patients were operated successfully at Wagholi Ayurved Hospital, free of charge.
All patients were provided with free medicine & food. Preference was given to young girls & children.
Squint Camp was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Paras Shah, Ophthalmologist.
Dr. Jathar (Shalakya - Ophthalmology Department) visited each & every near by village & school for
examination & selection of patients for squint camp .Dr. Vijay Ramdasi (Ophthalmologist ) helped the team of
doctors in co-ordination & surgery of patients. Dr. Madhusudan Jhanwar of Pune Netraseva Pratishthan, a
famous eye surgeon helped in examination of all the patients as well as his teaching to the young doctors
was the hallmark of this camp. Members & office bearers of Lions Club of Kirkee & Lions Club of Pune st
21 Century were present throughout the camp & had a Lion Share. All surgeries were shown to Doctors,
Students & relatives by closed circuit audio visual arrangement in big hall. This camp was a grand success
with the kind co-operation & guidance of Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh , Principal of Ayurved Mahavidyalaya &
Dr. Umesh Tekawade, Vice principal of Ayurved Mahavidyalaya.

as applicable according to curriculum of course.

Dept. of Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust's Ayurved College, Wagholi, has been
promoted as Principal of the college.
Dr. S. S. Khot, Reader Sharir Rachana Dept. of Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan
Trust’s Ayurved College, Wagholi, has been promoted as Vice-Principal of the
college.
Both of them are attached to the college since the beginning. Their contribution has payed vital role in
upliftment of institute. Their hard work has always proved as an idol for everyone.
