Children ages 3-6 who are at the early acquisition stage of literacy, language learning and building vocabulary may be eligible to participate in a no-cost, out-of- school family workshop research study. Eligible children and their parent(s) will attend four 2-hour workshops over four consecutive weeks (Friday afternoon or Saturday morning options available). Each child will participate in group drumming, storytelling and dance sessions led by a highly-trained teaching-artist while their parent/guardian learns about the Drumball – a rhythm-based multimodal tool.
