Tuesday, January 4, 2011 Dear Students & Families, Happy New Year! Welcome back to the second semester at Wayne School of Engineering. My name is Michelle McCullough and I will be teaching Integrated Math Course 2/Course 3. I have big plans for this semester, so I am really excited to get back to work. I just wanted to send out this note to make contact with you so that we are all on the same page. You can find the syllabus for each respective course on my class website (http://www.waynecountyschools.org/700/site/default.asp ). You will also find the procedures/expectations, supply list, grading rubric details, as well as the link to the class blog. The blog is always updated with assignments, class notes, college/scholarship information, and other resources. I strongly encourage you to stay connected so that you will be aware of what we are doing in class. Please take the time to navigate through the sites so that you are well-informed. If during the course of this semester you notice that your son/daughter is struggling with anything, please do not hesitate to contact me and encourage them to come for tutoring. I am available after school every Tuesday and Thursday. My goal is to help each child reach their full potential, so I will do anything I can to assist in this effort. I will also be focusing on organizational and college-readiness skills this semester. With that said, if you know that your child has a tendency to be forgetful and you would like to be more involved, I will be sending home calendars and missing assignment reminders (optional). Please fill out the bottom form, along with the attached Student Information Sheet and return before Friday, January 7, 2011. These are both worth 10 points each! Dear Students & Families,

Happy New Year!
