The bell system will work tonight as if it were a nor-

mal school day. When you hear the music start, it is

the end of a period. You will have 3 minutes of music

and 2 minutes of silence before you are late to class!

Back to School Knight 2019

**Counselors will be available in the College and Career Center to answer questions regarding the

college planning process and Cum Laude from 5:30—7:00pm

Grayslake North will be using a new online tool called Panorama. Panorama is a tool that helps

educators support every student, every day, using early warning and on track indicators, and

intervention tracking. Panorama syncs with Power School, to help us identify the moment stu-

dents may fall off track or need additional support.

Powerschool & Schoology Parent Login

At this time you should have received an email from Grayslake North with your Powerschool and Schoology login information. As part of the ongoing technological improvements at Grayslake North, we use Schoology, an online learning management system. Schoology allows students and parents to connect both at school and from home to their courses, classmates and teachers.

In addition to following your student in Schoology, you can access information about grades and attendance by using our PowerSchool program. If you have a returning student your login cre-dentials remain the same. If you have a new student, your login ID and password were included in the email.

If you need additional support logging in to either of these resources, our Tech Integration Spe-cialists will be available outside the College and Career Center from 7:00—9:00pm or you can contact Rachel Burnette, GNHS Data Entry Specialist, at rburnette@d127.org.

When you need to report an absence, a late arrival or early dismissal of a student, please call

847-986-3101 and leave your student’s name, year in school and reason for the absence. If you

would like a refrigerator magnet with this information, please see Lori DeFiore, Assistant to the

Principal, at the Open House.
