Achieving Level 5 is above average. Level 6 is accessing the Level 6
Curriculum (which we have taught)
Level 6 Tests
Covered year 6 units Revised learning from previous years Worked on individual targets Received feedback on progress from teachers. Become more independent to direct own
learning. Worked on exam techniques and timed
conditions. Had focused interventions like booster
classes, intervention teaching & Level 6 Teaching .
What have the pupils done so far?
Make Up a Revision Timetable for the Easter holidays.
Ensure you help set up a quiet area of your home for your child to study.
They will need: Lined paper, Colour mind map pens, pencil and pen.
Study Guides and access to PC internet will help.
Ensure they revise everyday for an hour or so.
Give them timed tests weekly – many online.
How can you help your child to revise for the forthcoming tests?
On the week of 11th May 2015
Prepare for mornings Early to bed Breakfast in the morning Snack for playtime & bottle of water and tissues if
needed. Reduce anxiety and help your children think
positive. Relaxation after a long school day. If you want your child to revise, make up revision
cards, for short bursts of revising.
How can you help your child?
All equipment will be provided (pencil cases not used during tests)
Some children will be doing tests in hall, others in classrooms.
As there are strict rules to administration of tests, children cannot communicate during tests and timings are adhered to.
What will happen during test week?
Please make sure you have the handouts regarding SATs.
If you have any questions about SATs– We will be available at the end.
