How to choose a subject?Three major considerations:

− Consider the subjects that the student has inclination for

− Consider the subjects that the student has performed well in (subject teachers)

− Admission requirements for higher secondary and tertiary study – look at university entry requirements (Ms Ezmieralda, Ms Harsha)

Do not be influenced by other students’ selectionsDo not choose according to the subject teacher

whom you like

Please note:

1. In choosing from this group it is important to consider what your son/daughter will study as a language option in years 11 and 12. It is expected that the student will continue this choice in the IB Diploma/Certificate.

2. Only those students who have demonstrated strong skills in Mathematics should study Additional Mathematics.

14

important of a student’s life.

Workload will get progressively heavier and students must work hard and submit work punctually and to the highest standard.

Parents must support and monitor their children.
