Application Overview:

Mograsis is a fully featured student information system that helps in the establishment of student data and

maintaining it throughout their academic period. It is an integrated system that helps in the computation of

data such as admissions, registration, financial aids, transportation management, fee management, records

of student attendance, Inventory and assets of school, handling assessments, records, projects, marks,

grades and entire academic records. From applying for admission to the leaving process, it covers entire

effective aspects of the student’s entire academic span in that specific educational institute. This

application is capable to manage entire administrative functions required to establish an educational

institution.

Let’s have a brief look on the role and working procedure of available modules.

Modules of Parent Panel

1.1 Dashboard View

On successful login Dashboard welcomes user with an opening overview of a parent profile.

Gives a brief look over the ongoing things such as notifications that include circulars, alerts, e-

mails and SMS. From here user can monitor and manage multiple academic and non-academic

aspects provided by the educational institution.

1.2 How to Login in to the Parent Portal?

1. Opening a browser you can reach up to http://****.mograsys.com/ppn/#/login

**** is replaced by users school name.

2. Enter username (parents Id) and Password received from school 3. Click on Login. 4. If User forgets Password Click on FORGET PASSWORD?

1.3 How to Change the Password?

1. On the top panel of the taskbar there are buttons. These buttons include setting, Chat with teacher,

toggle button. Click on the Settings button

2. A drop down list will appear. Click on Change Password

3. Enter the old Password and the new password as in the below screen and submit.

1.4 How to Communicate with Teachers?

For easy communication with school authorities and teachers the software provides Parents a tab for

direct communications. Parent can directly communicate with the teachers from the parent portal

application.

Note: Search Option is available to search specific teacher from the list. Parent can search for limited

teachers based on the subjects their ward is studying. Once the teacher is selected. Parents can view

the previous communications done or can start new communication with selected teacher.

1.5 How to Log Out

On the top panel and right side. Click on the Settings button. A dropdown menu appears .Click on Log Out

to sign off from the Parent Portal.

1.6 How to View Gallery?

Parent can enjoy by participating through viewing photos of events that are conducted in school. All the

photos of events are uploaded by school to their portal. These photos can be viewed by clicking on

GALLERY tab. Parents will be receiving event-related pictures regularly here.

User should select the Academic year from the drop down menu.

Select the event to view the photos from the dropdown menu.

After clicking on the event all the photos of the event are displayed in list format

Any of the photo can be enlarged by clicking on the photo.

Right click on the photo to save the photo or save the link of photo.

1.7 How to view Student Profile?

As it is an integrated application software, it enables user to perform multiple tasks on one platform.

Parents can manage their child’s every single detail from parent portal. Under this section, parents have to

fill or update any details of their child.

In case of siblings also registered under same parent portal, software allows to maintain the personal

details of their each children by creating separate profiles. These profiles can be edited by clicking on the

images provided on the taskbar at the top right corner. All these given details can also be seen by the school

administrations, if required for updating their database.

Choose Student from the main menu. (Click on student image on Dashboard)

Now click on Student Profile.

Student’s Personal Details, Academic Status, Passport Visa Details and Other Details are

displayed.

Click on Edit icon to edit the student details. (Only few details will be editable)

Personal Details displays Name, Family Name, Gender, Birth and Address Details of Student.

Academic Status displays Academic details, Emergency Contact Details.

Passport/Visa Details displays Passport, Visa and National ID Details of Student.

1.8 How to use Calendar Tab?

School Academic Calendar can easily be incorporated in the system by schools. All the events of the academic

year can be defined in the system and these details can be accessed by parents from parent portal in Monthly,

Weekly and Daily Views. Parents can view the academic calendar in Calendar application from the menu.

To use the calendar tab user has to select the month, by default it shows present month.

User can view week, month or day vise pattern of calendar.

1.9 How to use News/Circular tab?

To view latest circulars and news from school parents can view by clicking on Circular tab. News, Updates,

Events, and Fees reminder etc. can be viewed from here. Parents get alert on mobile if school updates any

circular.

Click on Circular option

Active circular will be displayed here with its Title, Publish Date, Short Description, Description and

Attachment if any.

Attachment can be opened and saved by clicking ‘File’ button.

Click on Acknowledge after reading circular. The Inactive circular can be viewed under Archive

Folder. Circulars can be searched between from date and To Date calendar.

Click Reset button to clear search results

Sorting Circulars can be done by entering Description in Search Textbox

By clicking on view user can see detail update.

1.10 How to use Hand Book?

Handbook module has been created to notify the non-academic information of the school. Parents can see and

download the required references, such as code of conduct, prayers, discipline rules, updates and information

related to school uniform, promotional information, etc.

Choose Handbook from the main menu.

Documents with reference number, description, publish and expiry date are displayed.

Attachment can be opened and then saved by clicking Download button.

1.11 How to view Fees Tab?

User can view the Fees payed or remaining fees from this tab. In Fees module, parents can calculate every

single penny they are spending for their child’s school fees. It displays a brief view of tuition fees, term fees,

book fees, and any other amount taken by school administration. Payment details can also be seen along

with the grand total, paid amount, unpaid amount and concessions.

Choose Fees from the main menu.

Student’s Fee Details like fee type, term, expected and paid fees, concession and remaining fees are

displayed.

Total expected, paid, remaining fees are displayed at the end.

1.12 How to view Parent Profile?

User can view, edit or update any data in the Parent portal. User can view all the data of Father and Mother

under same window. User can also view how many phones are connected with the login ID. These phones

will receive alert messages.

To edit basic data in Parent profile. Click on setting button on top right corner.

To edit other details click on edit button.

Click on upload to upload or edit image.

A window appears, user can change data and click on submit

Alert message displays if the data is successfully edited.

Marking mobile device OFF will stop sending messages on that number.

1.13 How to view Time Table Report?

User can view updated Time Table. Time table for each sibling can be viewed. Parents and students

can check out daily time-table from Time-Table Report. It works just like a diary filled by teachers

for next day schedule. Here, students can see specific subject lectures along with subject teachers

and number of lectures taking place in a day.

Click on time table tab.

Select image of the sibling from top right corner

Result displays Curriculum, Grade Name and Attachment.

Click on Download to view pdf of time table that opens in another tab.

Right click on pdf to save the time table

Note: The modules given under parent portal are assigned by the school administration. It may vary from

one school to other school.

1.14 How to view Agenda?

User can view Agenda by clicking on the agenda tab. For each sibling the Agenda can be chosen by clicking

on image of the sibling.

Click on Agenda tab.

Select Academic year from the dropdown menu.

Select the Start Date from the drop down menu.

Select the End Date from the drop down menu.

Select the subject from the drop down menu.

Click on SEARCH to find the agenda or click on RESET to enter the data again.

1.15 Exam Material Reference View

Exam materials can be viewed by user through this tab. User can get updated with all the data that will

be useful for exams.

User can click on exam material tab.

Select start date from the calendar.

Select end date from the calendar.

Click on submit.

Materials can be viewed through the attachments.

1.16 Learn Arabic

User can learn Arabic through selecting this tab. All the Arabic chapters are displayed. User can click on

any of the one and can learn all the Arabic lessons.

Select the tab.

Click on view.

1.17Hand Books/Reference:

1.18 How to view Attendance?

To keep a track of attendance on monthly basis. The Attendance module will display the present,

absent and unmarked attendance of children for current academic year. Along with the current month,

it also lets user toggles among the previous month’s attendance of current session.

User has to click on Attendance Tab.

Select the sibling by clicking on sibling Image.

Attendance for the month can be viewed along with all the holidays, leaves and weekly off.

1.19 How to communicate with Teacher?

Parents can now have one-on-one session with their child’s subject expert. Start the session with ward’s

subject expert with just few clicks.

Select Teacher tab

User can view all the Teachers associated with selected child.

Click on Teacher’s name and User can have communicate with any teacher.

How to start one-on-one session with teachers?

Click on the specific subject matter expert

A chat room will appear alongside

User can Create New Subject or can talk on earlier topics.

Ask the queries related to subject or ward’s performance and growth.

1.20 How to View Report Card/Gradebook?

Parents can now check, download or print term-wise Report-card or Grade Book for current and

previous academic sessions. This tab makes easier for parents to study Child’s graph. Parents can

download Gradebook of any child for any year.

Click on Report Card/ Gradebook tab.

Select Student by clicking on the image.

Select Academic Year from the drop down menu.

Select Result Type from the drop down menu.

Select Term from the dropdown menu.

Screen displays the Gradebook.

User can find view options from the taskbar above. User can Zoom In, Zoom Out, and even SAVE

and DOWNLOAD the Grade Book.

1.21 How to view Medical details?

Medical comes under one of the most important aspects of parent module. It demands the overall

medical history of children ranging from his/her BMI, height, weight, blood group, medical description,

disability description, prescribed doctor’s name and contact details. The medical visits and services

offered by educational institutions can also be seen here.

User can click on Medical tab to view, edit or update medical data of the student.

Click on Student’s Image to view the medical detail.

User can view Health Details, BMI Index and Other details of the students.

User can also edit these details by clicking on the edit tab at the top left corners of the detail.

To keep School updated about any infection or allergy of the student parents should keep these

data updated.

1.22 How to view Transport facilities?

The transport application of a child can be updated, managed and handled under Transport module.

Undertaken by enrollment number, parents are capable to manage entire details of their ward’s

transportation. It includes information related to conveyance of child, i.e. Bus no. route name, route

direction, pick-up and drop stop, and effective period for current session.

In case of address change, parents simply need to fill-in the transport application with reference to new

address, route name and effective dates. Once the application will get confirmed by the school

transport administration, parents will get notified for the same.

1.23 Learning Resource

Learning Resources has been considered as the most helpful module for the students. Given the

assignment, teachers use to send out some learning references and resources, which might be required

for the completion of assignment or projects. Students can get all the learning resources, references,

presentations or documents in this module, which would be helpful for them to complete their

assessment.

1.24 Leave Application

In this module, Parents can apply leaves for their respective children. They need to fill the required

details such as leave type, period of leaves, i.e. number of days and reason for leave. In case of sick

leaves and medical leaves, parents are requested to attach medical certificates and doctor’s

prescription. This module ranges from one school to other school, as the leave types are categorized on

different aspects.
