RECYCLING
FOGO (Food Organics, Garden Organics)
By placing your food, cardboard/paper
products and garden waste in the lime
green FOGO bins organic material is
diverted from landfill and taken to a
composting facility to be recycled and
turned into a rich compost.
LANDFILL BIN
Placing household waste items into
your red lid landfill bin should be a
last resort after you have tried to
reduce, reuse and recycle. Your red
lid bin is emptied fortnightly and
taken to the Landfill Management
Facility.
The paper, cardboard, glass, aluminium, steel and plastic containers are recycled at a
Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). The facility mechanically and manually sorts and
separates the recyclables into different streams of paper, cardboard, glass,
aluminium, steel and plastic containers. The separated materials are then
compacted into bales and taken by trucks to reprocessing facilities, and used in
making new products.

Leave for 20 minutes – the mould spores will be activated and looking for moisture, wipe down the sprayed surfaces and then re-spray and leave it to kill the mould for between 24/48hours, where the mould spores will dry out and fall off. *This mix will kill the mould present at the time of spraying, but if the root cause is not fixed, mould will be back!
