And so…When the song of the angels is stilled, When the star in the sky is gone, When the kings and princes are home, When the shepherds are back with the flocks. The work of Christmas begins: To find the lost, To heal the broken, To feed the hungry, To release the prisoners, To rebuild the nations, To bring peace among brothers and sisters, To make music in the heart!* Let us pray that we, like Samuel, will be alert to the inner voice of God and his Son, Jesus, so that, when called, we may read- ily respond, ‘Here I am. You called me. Speak, Lord, for your ser- vant is listening. Queen of Apostles School will observe the Martin Luther King holiday on Monday, January 19.

The High School Placement test will be given on January 24 and we wish our 8th graders the best of luck. They are well prepared to move on to high school.

We invite all parishioners to join school families at the 9:00 am mass on Sunday January 25. That is the first day of Catholic Schools Week and some of our students and parents will participate in the Mass. Following Mass, please visit the school and meet teachers at the an-nual Open House. The Artist/Authors Faire will also begin next week-end and we know you will enjoy seeing what our talented students have produced.

On the Calendar: Jan. 18th: No classes, MLK weekend Jan. 25th: No classes, as our catechists will be on retreat that day. Theology of The Body

All adults are invited to join part 2 of “Into the Heart: A Journey Through the Theology of the Body”, a DVD-based study group began Tuesday, January 13th at 7pm. Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body unfolds God's amazing plan for humanity, addresses our life purpose, and teaches us how to find happiness and fulfillment. Wedding Anniversary Celebration

The book of The Four Signs of a Dynamic Catho-lic…We hope that we continue reading it and learn to be the best, most dynamic Catholics we can be.
