our goal is to “Grow the Relationship”. 

1. Parish and Community Engagement (PCE)

will inform pastors and parish councils about

Catholic Charities programs and services-

our Mission and Goals. (at times assist 

 parishes in developing social ministry goals)

2. PCE brings to Catholic Charities an

awareness of an organizations’

Mission/Vision or specific issues . . . .

focal points where there is shared concern.

3. PCE integrates the common programs,

interests, and skills of both agency and faith

community, “growing the relationship to

accomplish the shared mission” .

Partnering Parishes Growing the Relationship

Mission Integration:

• Uniting CCCS programs in the common mission -Helping our communities most vulnerable with solutions that 

 permanently improve lives

• Developing established and trusted external relationships so as to integrate CCCS mission with other Agencies in order to

support our clients with ALL necessary tools and resources for finding sustainable solutions

Parish and Community Engagement supports CCCS programs in order to achieve Mission Integration by:

1. Building awareness within the broader community about the mission of CCCS and the programs achieving the mission

2. Connecting the gifts of volunteers in order to support the needs of CCCS3. Creating opportunities for sustained relationship and ministry which provides human resources and capital support

These outcomes are the goals of PCE in order to increase the capacity of our agency to achieve the mission!
