PRAYER TO THE HOLY TRINITY FOR THE PREPARATION OF MASS Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come to us and renew us as we gather to celebrate this Sunday Mass. As we continue our pilgrimage of life, help us
to become better Christians on earth so that we may rejoice with you for ever in Heaven. To the Holy Trinity be glory forever and ever. Amen.
30th Dec ’17 - 14th Jan ’18 Christmas Season & 1, 2nd Sunday OT Week 1 & 2
What a wonderful New Year’s Present for our Parish
My heart felt thanks to the project committee led by Lady Marie Stubbs for a very successful completion and handover of St Hugh’s Centre. It is indeed a wonderful present to the parish which I have been privileged to re-ceive on behalf of the parish. Our very special thanks to the architect Laurie Day & the contractor Stephen Forde for an excellent job done and pretty much on time. A very special thanks to many and all of you who wished well and contributed to this day in many ways. We can now confidently look forward to the opening on the 28th Janu-ary 2018 with the Archbishop Bernard Longley & The Duke of Marlborough gracing the occasion. It was not without challenges and there will be many challenges for the future, not to mention teething problems during these few months. I am sure we will all be very positive, supportive and constructive in whatever way and every way we can in making this place a blessing upon us. ~ Fr Prem
Dear Parishioner, After over two years of coordination I am so pleased that our project is complete and you and future generations have a wonderful Centre for St Hugh’s . You will see the photos showing the progress of the project , on the board in the Centre on the Opening day. Hard to believe we have come so far! I wish to record my thanks to Fr Prem for giving me the opportunity to serve the Parish in this way. I also acknowledge with gratitude the sustained and generous support given to me by the project Committee - our Chairman Fr Prem , Sandra and David. We were grateful for Kazia’s input with finance also. So after the Opening in January, I will sign off and look forward to the new Centre’s committee taking over. I am sure you will give them all your support for the many events they will organise and of course keep up your excellent fund- raising to repay our loan. Thank you for all your kind words over the last two years. Best wishes, Marie Stubbs (Coordinator)
