This Spring has brought different challenges to all of us. My hope is everyone is well and safe. The COVID-19 outbreak affects everyone. We have noticed more residents out and about on the trails and in the parks. This is what the doctor ordered. Get out and enjoy the sunlight and outdoors. Parks throughout Pleasant Grove are currently open for general use. The city playgrounds are closed and will open once we have approval from the Health Department. We have noticed an increase in pets accompanying residents in the parks and ask that you PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER THEM. Also remember, they need to be on a leash. The trails are also seeing a huge increase in use. As the same with the parks, Please remember to clean up after your pet and keep them on a leash. We are seeing a lot of trail cutting which increases the maintenance and also affects the water shed. PLEASE STAY ON THE DESIGNATED TRAILS. Remember proper trail etiquette and the “Pack it in, Pack it out” rule. Battle Creek Trail Closure: Battle Creek trail will be closed weekdays until May 11 th – Weekdays Only – the trail will be open on weekends starting Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday.
