Did you know? If you are able to help, now is a great time to make a donation to the Parish Building Fund. The time is right as the Diocese will not be charging the parish any interest on our loan for the rest of 2020. This means that any donations made to the Building Fund until the end of the year will go directly against the loan principal and reduce our loan balance accordingly. This is an important opportunity for those that can manage any extra donations.

Full of hope and encouragement, they are meant to spur us on to faithful Gospel living no matter what befalls us in this life. Set among them is the responsorial psalm for today, Psalm 23, where the Lord is our shepherd who leads us to green pastures.

Marriage Preparation with Catholic Engaged Encounter

This pandemic has caused all of us to rethink and refocus our way of doing our particular ministries. For engaged couples needing marriage preparation in the fall, we are offering the same proven Catholic Engaged Encounter weekend program using ZOOM as our medium. We believe that the CEE program best meets the criteria for the times and the couples of this generation. This virtual weekend will be offered at a district level (Ontario, English Quebec, Maritimes) on November 7-8, 2020. The cost is $150.00 and engaged couples can view the CEE program website and register at https://www.ceeeast.org.

With hearts full of love and generosity, parishioners are asked for financial support to help meet the needs of our parish and those we serve. This Thanksgiving, please give as generously as you are able, and please pray for those in need. You can place your gift in an envelope marked with ‘Thanksgiving Appeal’ and your name and deposit it in the collection basket at the back of the church or in our secure mail slot by the outside office entrance. Surviving Divorce was created to bring hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. It is for the newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later.
