Traditionally it is Host to the National Show of the Dutch Poultry Union NHDB; an extra festive event with a plaquette (see right) for every participant, as this was their 40th Jubilee Show. The Show boasted a record entry of well over 11.000 exhibits. Among those entries were 1300 Large Fowl and 3050 Bantams and many show pens of 1-4, plus 750 Waterfowl and Ornamental Fowl.
