Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Greetings from Trichy SRM Medical

College Hospital and Research Centre, Irungalur,

Tiruchirapalli! We have successfully conducted six

national workshops on Research Methodology

We are delighted to organize the 7th

National Workshop on “Research Methodology”

from 18th to 21st December 2019. This institution

has dedicated to teach and train those interested in

research and assist them to gain recent knowledge

on research and advance in research.

The workshop provides structured

programmes for formulating research questions and

setting up research designs. Participation in the

workshop is expected to enhance the research

culture among post graduates and research scholars,

as well as to orient them towards research

methodology and statistical methods.

This workshop includes 8 lead lectures,

5 problem solving sessions, 7 hands on trainings,

5 group discussions and 3 presentations for the

participants apart from individual poster

presentation.

Areas of Focus

Understanding the basic principles of research

Reviewing published research papers

Formulating precise research questions

Writing a research proposal pertaining to

guidelines of various funding agencies

Carrying out research projects

Processing data and statistical analysis

Writing research articles for publications

Training to present papers and posters

Who can attend?

Medical and Allied Health professionals;

Postgraduate students and faculty from medical

institutions, non medical professionals, research

scholars and faculty engaged in research activities.

How to apply?

Individual applicant is requested to complete

the registration form along with necessary four

annexures*, and other enclosures as mentioned in

the Registration form with DD of Rs. 500/-, and

submit the hard copy to the Organizing Secretary

on or before 15th November 2019 by 5.00pm.

The payment of the application processing fees does not confirm the selection for participation.

Incomplete applications will be rejected.

The application received after the last date will

not be considered.

The results of the selection will be intimated

through email & mobile on 20th November

2019.

The application processing fees will not be

refunded.

The selected candidates are informed to adhere

to the rules and regulations of the workshop

scrupulously.

Exchange of participant is not permitted.

Kids are not allowed

Mobile phones are not permitted inside the

workshop venue

Selected participants have to display a poster

on a title related to Research Methodology assigned to them.

Only candidate attended all days and sessions

will be given attendance and certificate.
