Whether your involvement dates back to the beginning or you are new to the program, the contributions you make are priceless. In a system of over 12,600 students, the impact of a caring and supportive community are evident in rising test scores and graduation rate, positive changes in student behavior, improved parental involvement, advancing technological tools for teaching and learning, and much, much more. Thanks to the support of our partners, schools were given an opportunity to provide new and supplemental educational tools and materials, incentives, and
instructional equipment. Take a look at some of the partnership contributions below:
1st Franklin Financial supports Teacher Appreciation Week through donations.85 south out & about sponsored a Teacher of the Month program. Teachers were given movie tickets and dinner certificates as well as a brief write up in their publication.adapt tosolve, inc. provided snacks for students and motivational treats.american home shield made Christmas extra special with gift bags for students, gift cards to staff, provided refreshments and a special visit from St. Nick. an aFFair to remember participated in the CTAE Small Business Career Focus seminars and allowed students to visit their store.baptist tabernacle Tabernacle donated school supplies, clothing items, book bags, and other incidentals for students this school year. They also provided items for the backpack food program for students, gift cards for raffles and other generous donations. The church continue to support the Veteran’s Day program each for active and retired military.belk department store donated door prizes for the secretary workshop, provides job shadowing opportunities for students and offers discounts incentives throughout the year for teachers.bradley’s antiques and more prepared goodie bags during Teacher Appreciation Week, donated items for the Fall Festival and contributed funds for field trips.best Western laFayette Garden inn & conFerence center hosted our Partners in Education Annual Meeting and sponsored our Teacher of the Year Reception through the donation of their facility and catering services.caterpillar, inc. supported career day with volunteers visiting the classroom and making presentations to the students. charter bank provided student incentives and a staff luncheon at the end of the year. They also made a monetary donation to support the high school marching band.
callaWay baptist church donated school supplies, coats and clothing items and volunteered their time to support the teaching staff.
chick-Fil-a (LaFayette Parkway and Commerce Avenue) allows the schools to host Spirit Nights and a pep rally in their parking lot during homecoming; a portion of the income was given back to the schools in support of various projects. They have also provided complimentary food, discounts, coupons and even straws for projects during the school year. Chick-Fil-A is a constant support to our teachers and staff in recognizing them during Teacher Appreciation Week. city liGhts church members helped with the Fall Festival and provided entertainment for the students and their families. They also served a delicious lunch to faculty and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.coca-cola contributes each year to the Teacher of the Year recognition with engraved plaques for each school nominee. They have also sponsored and donated coke products for Accelerated Reader Celebrations, Volunteer Recognition Program, Teacher Appreciation Week, field trips, fall festivals and end of the year awards.

elliebelles participated in the Small Business CTAE seminars and allowed students to visit their business.emory clark holder clinic physicians continue to offer their services to athletes and support Heath Services CTAE seminars.Jindal (exxonmobil) provide incentives for students and staff, monetary donations, school supplies and offers support as needed.FelloWship oF christian athletics provides tutors and mentoring.First baptist church on Fannin street sponsored the Boys to Men Motivational assembly and luncheon, purchased books for students during book fairs, donated socks, mittens and additional items at Christmas for students in need.First baptist church oF hoGansville provides snacks and supplies for students and staff.First united methodist church has hosted our Annual School Council meeting for the past several years, donated hotdogs and buns for the “On to High School” celebrations, assisted children with supplies and clothing as needed throughout the school year.First baptist church on the square provides meals, snacks and words of encouragement to teachers to show staff appreciation throughout the year. The students were also provided with school supplies, clothing items, book bags, and other incidentals items. Church
members volunteer their time to mentor and tutor students as needed.First presbyterian church planned the prayer walk and breakfast, provided a professional learning lunch for teachers, Thanksgiving baskets for families, Dove Tree donations at Christmas, school supplies, monetary donations, volunteers in the classroom and a new American flag that flew over the Nation’s Capital.F.l.i. properties funded a field trip for an entire 3rd grade class to visit the Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.Genesis physicians provided judges for the Science Fair.GeorGe childress, dmd contributed monetary donations toward the purchase of classroom technology and the “On to High School” celebration.Glovis, GeorGia, llc continues to support Troup County Schools through donations.hanil e hWa provided monetary donations, prizes and treats throughout the year, gift cards for Spelling Bee prizes, teacher appreciation snack trays, school supplies and Christmas gifts.heritaGe construction donated hotdogs and buns for the “On to High School” celebration and a monetary donations in support of their school partnership.houze and associates annually contributes to the district’s Teacher Retirement Reception. inGles market # 491 hoGansville participated in the Box Tops for Education and supplied snacks for students and staff for special events.
interFace employees volunteered time at Career Day, Real Men Read, installed carpet in a media center and classrooms for their Green Apple Day of Service, completed outdoor projects as well as other outstanding donations of time and resources.kia (kmmG) matched funds through DonorsChoose.org to fund projects for teacher classrooms in Troup County School System, they also donated gift cards to help purchase new bikes for AR winners.kimberly clark provided goody bags for the staff, supplies for
Teacher Appreciation and donated tissue products for all classrooms. They also support and participate in our Career Focus and job shadowing events.kimbrouGh bros. company provided tutoring services on a weekly basis throughout the school year.laGranGe Fire protection services donated towards the AR programslaGranGe-troup county chamber oF commerce co-partners with Troup County School System and our Partners in Education program, Career Focus, Teacher of the Year and job shadowing programs.laGranGe toyota provided a monetary donation to support their school partnership.liGhthouse Worship center sponsored a back to school roundup for the neighborhood students and gift baskets of school supplies for students and teachers.little caesars provided Halloween bags for students.lee’s crossinG apartments sponsored a Math Team of 4th and 5th grade students who competed at the Columbus High School. lee’s crossinG tires and services sponsored Morning with Mom.leWis, taylor & todd, pc annually supports the Teacher Retirement Reception.los nopales/cisco’s donated book bags, provided Mexican Munchies for Teacher Appreciation, purchased items from the PTO fundraiser and made a monetary donation in support of their partnership. loyd presbyterian church provided backpacks filled with school supplies as well as snacks during Meet the Teacher for faculty and staff.milliken & company gave generously to students with gift bags, refreshments, t-shirts, hats, gloves and school supplies.
mobis made a monetary donation to the AR Program to purchase AR books, prizes and other incentives as well as participated in Career Focus with high school students visiting the plant.mountville baptist church provided money for student incentives and helped families in need during the holidays.mud creek Graphics supported Partners in Education with the donations of decals for each partner and t-shirts for board members.
piGGly WiGGly Jtm corporation supported Box Tops for Education and allowed collection bins to be placed in their store.pilot club oF hoGansville volunteers donated their time to help make prom night special.pretty products (emma hill products) made a monetary donation to help needy students in various capacities.
publix super markets donated much needed school supplies to the system. Publix also supports Box Tops for Education by allowing collection bins to be placed in the supermarket. roGer’s bbq in hoGansville provides food coupons for student incentives.mable sharp-state Farm insurance purchased PTO fundraiser items; sponsored “Celebrate My Drive” at all three local high schools, and gave monetary donations to special programs, student gift cards for incentives, and helped with breakfast during graduation practice.Jerry cleaveland-state Farm insurance provided school supplies for students, gift bags for staff, volunteer services for multiple events/class parties, field day, Valentine’s Dance, Doughnuts with Dad, Muffin with Mom, breakfast and snacks for staff.
striFFler-hamby mortuary supported the students and staff with donations of supplies and goodies though out the school year.the army national Guard provided breakfast during pre-planning.torrance construction supports our Teacher of the Year celebration each year and scholarship funding.troup county animal hospital support career week in our elementary schools.Wal-mart superstore donated gift cards to help purchase new bikes for AR winners, provided Moon Pies to give as incentives to
all our partners in education, and supported the Box Top for Education by allowing collection bins in the store lobby.
Wal-mart distribution center/transportation gave twenty $50 gift cards to teachers to help with classroom materials, employees also volunteered their time in the school and donations of supplies throughout the school year.
West GeorGia health purchased pencils, stickers, books and a banner to promote and encourage students during Red Ribbon Week to Say No To Drugs!WaFFle house provided meals, snacks and words of encouragement to teachers to show staff appreciation throughout the year.West point First baptist church donated school supplies. West point First presbyterian cooked meals and desserts for the staff throughout the year, tutored children and provided school supplies for students.
Many of our athletic partners funded state playoff trips in sports,
purchased new window coverings and wall pads for the gym, supported student athletes through attendance at sporting events and helped to fund uniform and
equipment purchases.
