Improving the development conditions and supporting the integrated and sustainable development of the Polish cities

THEMATIC „SELF – LEARNING „ NETWORKS bringing together a group of cities to diagnose and analyse good practices and innovative solutions around the urban priorities indicated at national level and linked with UA of the UE– supported by
experts and Ministry (2 years duration)
Basic PCI implementation mechanism
• City’s Actions Initiative at each city level taking part in Networks describing the action plan for the specific city’s problems/challenge solutions in the particular thematic scope build around the lessons learned from the exchange of experience and mutual learning phase.
Basic products of the Network
• Improvement Plan: one document for each Network giving feedback to national and EU level - recommendation/guidelines regarding the given policy, proposals of legislative changes, case studies and best practices;
Areas of network activities
• Organisation of network meetings, study visits
• Collecting good practices and innovative solutions
• Additional studies and expert opinions
I. Activities related to the exchange of experience and
mutual learning
• Dissemination of information and mainstreaming at the local level
• Work in each city on the document City’s Actions Initiative
• Establishing a Local Partnership in each city
II. Translating good practices to local level
• Work at the level of the Network on the Improvement Plan
• Development of contributions to the work of the EUUA partnerships – strengthening the Polish partners participating in partnerships
• Information flow among the national and European partnerships within the EUUA and „URBACT cities”
III. Activities related to capitalisation of knowledge and developing bottom-up
proposals of system solutions
