Jesus showed us time and time again that He would take care of those who follow Him. Just as a shepherd takes care of his sheep, so Jesus will always

be there for His followers. No better depiction of this exists than Psalm 23.

THE SHEPHERD: __________________________________________He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms,

The shepherd is posted to protect the sheep and they hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out . . . he walks on ahead of them; and they follow him because they know his voice . . . I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep in His care . . . The thief approaches with malicious intent, looking to steal, slaughter, and destroy; I came to give life with joy and abundance . . . I am the good shepherd; I know My sheep, and My sheep know Me . . . I will give My life for the sheep.  (John 10:3-4, 10-11, 14-15 - The Voice)
