Question No.1 Passion and Enthusiasm.

Passion and enthusiasm are the seeds of achievement. Enthusiasm is like an ocean tide. There is a certain inevitability about it. Passion sweeps obstacles away. It's tough to be a leader if you can't energize your people and tap into their emotional energy.

"To be successful, a man must exert an effective influence upon his brothers and upon his associates, and the degree in which he accomplishes this depends on the personality of the man. The incandescence of which he is capable. The flame of the fire that burns inside him. The magnetism which draws the hearts of men to him."

To motivate people, there must be a spark, some juice, desire, zeal, inspiration. It's rough to be a leader if you can't energize yourself, and then your people. They need to be able to tap into your emotional energy – and you need to be able to tap into theirs.

For most of us, the passion to achieve, to be first, must be stoked. Every day you've got to lay on some kindling, strike a match and fan the flames of passion and zeal.

Having a plan is important, but along with a plan there must be a hunger, and a zeal to achieve the vision.

Question No.2 Moral Character

Improvements in moral character are our own responsibility. Bad habits are eliminated not by others, but by ourselves.

Lombardi believed a person’s character is made up of small, everyday decisions to do the right thing, as well as larger prevailing traits, such as respect, humility and responsibility. He treated all of his players equally regardless of race or any other factor.

Character is just another word for having a perfectly disciplined and educated will. A person can make his own character by blending these elements with an intense desire to achieve excellence. Everyone is different in what I will call magnitude, but the capacity to achieve character is still the same.

By developing his players’ character, teaching them discipline and giving them self-confidence to achieve more than they thought possible he brought five NFL championships to Green Bay in nine seasons.

With every fiber of my body, I’ve got to make you the best football player that I can make you,” Lombardi told his players. “And you’ve got to give everything that is in you. You’ve got to keep yourself in prime physical condition, because fatigue makes cowards of us all.

Question No.3 Hard Work and Discipline

Lombardi knew that the price of success was hard work. He believed it and he gave his team an extremely regimental training. This inculcated discipline in them, and helped them win their championships.

We can not bypass hard work for it is the only way to success.and for the bigger success you desire, the more hard work you have to put in. Pay the price in hard work and tell your team to pay for the price for it too. 

t's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you got to have is faith and discipline when you're not a winner.
