PASSIVE VOICE

We only use the passive when we are interested in the object or when we do not know who

caused the action.

We can only form a passive sentence from an active sentence when there is an object in the active sentence.

PASSIVE VOICE IN SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

Form:(To be) Is/are + past participle

PASSIVE VOICE IN SIMPLE PAST TENSE

Form:To be (was/were) + past participle

PASSIVE VOICE IN PRESENT PERFECT TENSE Form:Has/have + been + past participle

PASSIVE VOICE WITH FUTURE SIMPLE TENSE

Form:Will + be + past participle

PASSIVE VOICE WITH MODALS Form:Can + be + past participle
