All copies of credentials to be submitted by applicants must have “Original Seen by Me” duly signed and date, and ARCON Seal affixed with name of the signatory (who must be a current financial Council Member) after sighting the originals.

Originals of Certificates should be produced on request.

Details of experience to be stated on supplementary form and attached to this application if the space provided in the form is inadequate.

Referees must be full financial members of the Institute and at least one referee must must have been a member of not less than 5 years standing and are ethically liable for any false information contained herein. While the second referee must have been a member of not less than 3 years standing.

Applicants should ensure that their referees are current financial members of the NIA.

It is the duty of the applicant to find out from his or her referee whether or not they are current financial members of the Institute.

The NIA will not be prepared to supply applicants with names of members who are current financial members of the Institute.

In the event of any of the two referees not being a current financial member of the Institute, the application forms of the applicant would be rejected and the applicant would be required to purchase a new application form.

Two copies of applicant’s passport photograph duly endorsed and sighted by one of the referees as follows- “True appearance of Mr./Mrs./Miss_____________________________________________ date and signature.

Applicants who studied abroad should attach letter(s) formally authorising the Nigerian Institute of Architects to request for their academic transcripts from all schools they have attended.

Defacing or alterations will render this form invalid.
