SVA Social & Open House Spring Valley Academy’s “Welcome Back to School” Social is on Monday, Aug. 15th, 5pm-6pm with their Open House immediately following from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The social will take place behind the school.

Life Group Leaders Retreat featuring Joe Nicosia, Sandy Johnson, and Derek Morgan will be held on Aug. 20, from 1pm to 6pm at Moraine Farms, immediately following 2Serv. Lunch will be provided to Life Group Leaders and their families. All Life Group Leaders or those interested in leading are encouraged to attend.

Pool Party This Aug. 21st, from 10am to 1pm, bring the family to the Adventure Reef Water Park on 2900 Glengarry Dr in Kettering, OH for a summer bash! It will include a vegetarian family-style picnic with lunch from City Barbeque and Ritter’s deluxe sundaes for dessert. For more information or questionscall (937) 298-2167. Ministry Signups Between 8:30 and the end of 2Serv, Aug. 27, signup tables will be setup in the lobbies for various ministry opportunities and life groups.

Longest Table After 2Serv, Aug. 27, there will be a potluck in the fellowship hall. The main course will be provided. The salad, bread, and dessert are provided by the congregation by last name: A-J are salad, K-R bread, and S-Z dessert.

Gospel Fest You’re invited to attend KHN’s 3rd Annual GospelFest Sunday, Aug. 28th and beginning at 3pm. This free event will be hosted at the Fraze, and will include 10 local Christian music artists/bands leading up to its feature group, Sidewalk Prophets. For more information call (937) 762-1063.
