CutPrint 1- 2 squares 6” x 6” for HSTPrint 2- 1 center square 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”Print 3- 8 squares 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” Drawa diagonal line on each touse for star points.
TIP: For the 1 1/2” squares trystarching your fabric BEFOREyou cut the squares. You mayfind them easier to handle withless stretch

Sew and flip star points
Step 1 Directions1) Draw a diagonal line onall of the 1 1/2” red squares

Step 2 Directions1) Following the diagram,Place a 1 ½ red square on the cream rectangle2) Sew on the line.3) Flip over and press, check the backto be sure it matches up to the rectangle4) Trim away the excess corner fabric behindthe triangle. Leave a 1/4” seam.3) Make 4
Step 3 Directions1) Following the diagram,repeat step 2 for the 2nd star point2) Make 4
Each measure 2.5” x 5.5”

Cut on the drawnLine for 2 HST
- Layer the dark and light square- Sew a ¼” seam on bothSides of the drawn line
-Trim squares to 5.5” x 5.5”using a square ruler witha diagonal line placed on theSeam.Make 4 HST
