We are pleased to offer Peta Negra a Marc Lombard designed prototype IRC 46 built in 2016 for charter

exclusively through Performance Yacht Charter in the Caribbean this winter and the UK next summer.

The light weight performance race yacht is perfect for both inshore and offshore regattas. Benefitting from a

carbon rig, and large asymmetric sail plan she can produce speeds in excess of 20 knots. With the wide transom, twin wheels and twin rudders she is light on the helm and very

well mannered in all conditions.

Not only is Pata Negra fast but her fitted interior makes her a comfortable boat for cruising with the family but also to optimise the number of seas berth for offshore racing. She a has a double forward, 4 singles in the saloon and

doubles in each aft cabin with pipe cots above. 12 berths in all if you’re in a Marina or 5 windward berths at sea.

Lucy is an accomplished inshore and offshore racing skipper sailing in excess of 100,000 miles. Lucys passion has always been for racing and she enjoys developing the skills of the crews that race with her.

Lucy started in the sailing industry owning and running Northern Child, a Swan 51, for racing and cruising charters in the UK and Caribbean which developed into Performance Yacht Charters offering worldwide race charter packages. Lucy has since expanded this into FAST40+ Charters offering racing events on the newest fastest 40ft race boats.
