America into a totalitarian state. We should not neglect thecontributions of Demo-lites McCain, Corker, Graham,Ayotte amongst others either! They have desertedproconstitutional conservatives and sold their party downthe river by trying to move the GOP towards the Left withthe misguided belief that doing so would align more voterswith the GOP----WRONG!!

The federal government shutdown actually shut down only15% of the federal government----and carefullyorchestrated to unnecessarily inflame the American peopleand then project responsibility for Obamas actions onto theGOP which attempted numerous times to avoid such ashutdown. The leftist Democrats lied to thoseAmericans who do not understand that default on the debthas nothing to do with debt ceilings or shutdowns since thenational debt is covered with about 20% of the daily

collected revenues flowing into Federal coffers. An actualdefault would be the sole choice of Obama and hisSecretary of Treasury Lyin Lew and result in criminalcharges against both. The limited shutdown merelyreaffirmed the Obama Administrations true goal---tryanny. They refused to listen to the will of the majorityof Americans represented by the House of Representatives,indicating that it was their way or the highway---NOCOMPROMISE. That is not how our republic is supposedto function. How interesting the Administration printedsigns well in advance of any shutdown to preventtrespassing into federal monuments including warmemorials! Elderly hikers on trails in our national parksfound restrooms closed. The cost to have park rangersplace barricades around park entrances and then stand dutyincurred costs exceeding those by just leaving the parksopen.

In the end Senate RINOs caved and deserted conservativeAmerica by marching to the orders of Harry Reid. What didAmerica get out of this standoff? First, Obamacare, thelaunch of which is completely dysfunctional, inordinatelyexpensive but more restrictive to Americans doctor andhospital choices, and rife with invasions of privacy ;second, no debt ceiling as America is marched by the Leftdown the road to financial and economic collapse (exacttime uncertain but coming); and finally, the usualirresponsible decisions by the Democrats and RINOs tospend even MORE money than before which America doesnot have. Currently Fedzilla spends one million dollars perminute and shows no desire to address the cominglocomotive. Who, me care? The socialist Democrats andRINOs only want their free ride to continue as long as

possible at the expense of our national solvency and mostsadistically, our children. In the end they must be held

As I ate my sandwich, I glanced at the wall and saw a signwith a quote from Gen. Douglas MacArthur. It said, "Weare not retreating -- we are advancing in another direction."

I was immediatelyenergized by thisquote from the oldgeneral. It wasexactly what I neededat the moment. Ittotally captured mystate of mind.Perhaps my mission

needed a change in tactics, but certainly there was nochange in commitment and objectives.

There is no smooth sailing in any tough mission. Setbacksare always part of the game. But if you are committed andright, setbacks are opportunities to regroup and improve.

Those who think that the current deal to temporarily fund

the government and open the door to yet even moregovernment borrowing amounts to some kind of defeat fortea party Republicans need to think again.

The tea party is in for the long haul. One skirmish may belost, but the war continues.

A recent Gallup poll shows 18 percent of Americanssatisfied with the way the country is being governed. For alittle perspective, this stood at 26 percent in mid-1973 in themidst of the Watergate scandal that led to the resignation ofthe president of the United States.

Early in 2009, shortly after President Barack Obama waselected, 56 percent expressed satisfaction with ourgovernment. It's just been downhill since then.

According to a new Economist/YouGov poll, 15 percentsay the country is going in the right direction and 74 percent

say it is on the wrong track.

Americans may have different opinions about what iswrong with the country, but there is plenty of agreementthat the patient is sick.

Broad opposition to the health care law continues. A newAssociated Press/GFK poll finds 28 percent favor thehealth-care law and 38 percent oppose. Sixteen percentstrongly support and 29 percent strongly oppose.

And regarding our debt, here's the Congressional BudgetOffice from its most recent outlook report: "Federal debtheld by the general public is now about 73 percent of theeconomy's annual output. ... That percentage is higher thanat any point in U.S. history, except a brief period aroundWorld War II, and it is twice the percentage at the end of2007."

Why is it a national disaster when some 400,000 non-essential government workers get furloughed for a coupleweeks, with pay, paid with our tax dollars, when the vastmismanagement in government and of our national budgethas sidelined millions in the private sector?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of August,there were 4.3 million long-term unemployed -- thoseunemployed more than 27 weeks. This constituted almost38 percent of all unemployed Americans.

Let's also not overlook the warning in this year's trusteesreport of Social Security and Medicare: "Neither Medicarenor Social Security can sustain projected long-run programsin full under currently scheduled financing, and legislativechanges are necessary to avoid disruptive consequences fortaxpayers and beneficiaries."

The country is sick, folks.

Per Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., regarding this latest deal:"Today's legislation won't help us reduce our fast-growingdebt -- we're kicking the can down the road."

The tea party is not going away. Fortunately, we have bravepatriots who care more about our country's future than theycare about the chitchat on editorial pages and talk shows.

We're not retreating -- we're advancing in a differentdirection.

As the nation enters the third week of the Obamacarehealth exchange implementation, its worth taking a secondlook at some interesting comments made in August by oneof the chief architects of the law.

In short, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid , D-Nev.,never really thought the exchanges would work.

He just sees the Affordable Care Act as the first step to afully government-run health care system, something thatcould be easier to achieve after the glitch-riddled,problematic opening of the federal health insuranceexchanges this month.

During an appearance on a Las Vegas PBS program inAugust, Reid said he sees a national single-payer healthsystem as the natural next step for health care in America.

Reid said the nation had to work its way past insurance-based health care, according to a recap provided by theLasVegas Sun newspaper.

What weve done with Obamacare is have a step in theright direction, but were far from having something thatsgoing to work forever, Reid said.

The so-called single-payer system essentially would doaway with private health insurance and would allow thegovernment to become the sole provider of medical costs(though all costs would actually be picked up by thetaxpayers, of course), similar to the socialized medicalsystems in Canada, Great Britain and elsewhere. Thebenefits of a single-payer system, from the governmentspoint of view at least, is that it does away with one of thosepesky Obamacare problems having to get people toenroll in the exchanges through their own free will.

Before passage of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, bothReid and Obama were on the record as preferring the so-called public option basically a small-scale single-payer system for the uninsured. But there was not enoughsupport for that in Congress, in large part because themajor insurance companies happen to be major campaigndonors and have powerful lobbyists.

Instead, the Affordable Care Act keeps private insurancecompanies at the center of the equation through theexchanges to offer insurance for those without coverage.

Reid said that just wouldnt cut it in the long run.

According to the Sun, when Reid was asked if he meantultimately the country would have to have a health caresystem that abandoned insurance as the means of accessingit, Reid said: Yes, yes. Absolutely, yes.

Some on the right have proposed that Obamacare isdesigned to fail, giving the government an opening tojustify moving to a single-payer system. But mostobservers have suggested that is not the explicit intention ofthe Obama administration or Congress, particularly after thedifficulty involved in passing the Affordable Care Act.

Still, problems with Obamacares implementation couldgrease the skids for a move to a single-payer system,particularly if Congress decides it has to do somethingabout the laws shortcomings.

If single-payer is seriously on the table in the next decadeor so, it will almost certainly be because of problems, andpublic dissatisfaction, with Obamacare, wrote a prescientPeter Suderman forReason.com in August.

But Suderman ultimately concluded that Reids commentsshouldnt be over-analyzed. He likely was just throwing

progressives a bone by suggesting Obamacare could getthem closer to the single-payer system they truly desire.

Regardless of whether Obamacare succeeds or fails in theeyes of the public, there is little doubt that progressives willcontinue to make their case for the single-payer system.

On Sept. 30, the day before the health-insurance exchangeswent online, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vt., who is asprogressive as they come in the halls of Congress, pennedan op-ed to The Guardian newspaper calling for a move toa single-payer system.

The Affordable Care Act, he said, was a start, he wrote,

echoing Reids words from a month earlier.

The only long-term solution to Americas healthcare crisisis a single-payer national healthcare program, Sanderswrote. The American people understand that our currenthealthcare system is not working.

After the changes implemented by Obamacare, more peoplemay think the existing healthcare system does not work.Then the question must be asked: What comes next?

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said in Le Mondesreport on Monday that 70.3 million items of Frenchtelephone data were recorded by the NSA betweenDecember 10, 2012 and January 8, 2013 and wereunacceptable.

The NSAs targets appeared to be individuals suspected oflinks to terrorism, but also people tied to French businessor politics, the report said. We have extremely usefulcooperation with the United States in the struggle againstterrorism, but this cooperation does not justify everything,

Fabius told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting with EUcounterparts in Luxembourg.

The allegation of the NSA spying on politicians of friendlycountries seems to be substantiated by another report thatthe NSA accessed the president of Mexicos email. Anarticle published in Der Spiegel details the conduct of adivision within the NSA called Tailored Access Operationsand its unauthorized entry and abuse of Mexicangovernment computers.

The NSA has been systematically eavesdropping on theMexican government for years. It hacked into thepresidents public email account and gained deep insight

into policymaking and the political system . The news islikely to hurt ties between the US and Mexico.

The National Security Agency (NSA) has a division forparticularly difficult missions. Called Tailored Access

Operations (TAO), this department devises specialmethods for special targets. That category includessurveillance of neighboring Mexico, and in May 2010, thedivision reported its mission accomplished. A reportclassified as top secret said: TAO successfullyexploited a key mail server in the Mexican Presidencia

domain within the Mexican Presidential network to gain

first-ever access to President Felipe Calderons public

email account.

In other words, the US government has been doing to itsallies and own citizens what it prosecutes other people fordoing under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA).The hypocrisy is epic and disgusting. The NSA hasdisgraced and embarrassed the American people at homeand abroad.

Acording to the Daily Caller only 14 people have signedup for Obamacare in Fargo, North Dakota. This bringsthe total statewide to 20. The administration has askedBlue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota not to publicizethis dismal report. South Dakota reports 23 people.

Kaiser Health News reported this week that hundreds ofthousands of Americans have received notices from theirinsurers canceling their policies: 300,000 from FloridaBlue and 160,000 from Kaiser Permanente in California.When you begin to look at these hundreds of thousandsof people, I think what youre going to see at the end of

October are more Americans are going losing their healthinsurance than are going to sign up at these exchanges,the Ohio Republican told reporters.

With the Obamacare rollout an unmitigated disaster andits popularity sinking every day, Democrats deploy asimple refrain to defend their malicious national socialistlaw:

(A) Obamacare was properly enacted therefore theirrefutable law of the land;

(B) Upheld by the Supreme Court (note, only half thelaw was upheld);

(C) Already in place and functioning; and,

(D) Obama defeated Mitt Romney in the 2012 election.

Per these factors, Obama expects the public, media, andRepublicans to hypnotically conclude that Obamacare isinevitable, inexorable, and inescapable. Obamacare cannever be repealed, defunded, delayed or modified byanyone except Emperor Obama. The Emperor is entitledto use wholly unilateral and unconstitutional means tomassage the law to fit his personal political and nationalsocialist objectives - including bribery.

Sadly, Republican and Tea Party Members of Congressfail to counter the spin because, in addition to laziness,they fail to research or simply remember thecircumstances of Obamacares enactment. Like CivilWar General John Pope, superbly arrogant and soon tobe dishonored in battle, they refuse to look behind themfor evidence of the enemies weaknesses, positions, andlanes of advancement.

Without question, Obamacare is the most illegitimatestatute in American History. Remember how Obamacare

was forced down the throats of 99% of the AmericanPeople and American businesses.

Passage required:

(1) The Cornhusker Kickback;

(2) The Bayou Bribe;

(3) Two unelected Senators installed with smoke filledroom insider deals - Paul Kirk, (D-MA) and RolandBurris, (D-IL). Note, Paul Kirk may never have beenelected to so much as dog catcher; he was TedKennedys personal attorney;

(4) A moronic comedian winning a Senatorial electionby only 312 votes amidst overwhelming evidence ofmassive voter fraud, Franken, (D-MN);

(5) Prohibited use of the nuclear option, e.g., the budgetreconciliation process;

(6) Deceased Senator Ted Kennedys seat won by aRepublican, Scott Brown (R-MA), clearly demonstratingthat even a socialist s tate did not want Obamacare;

(7) Representing half the nationwide electorate, not oneRepublican Member of Congress voted for the bill;

(8) Former House Speaker Pelosi admitted that not oneDemocrat read the bill;

(9) Thousands of waivers were immediately handed outlike candy to Obamas favorite unions and theDemocratic Partys donor corporations;

(10) Inverse relationship -- throughout 2009 and 2010,the relentless 24/7 marketing campaign of the AffordableCare Act bill by Democrats and the liberal media in pointof fact weakened and hardened public sentiment againstObamacare; and,

(11) Obamas main campaign tenets were that, weshould all have to play by the same rules, everyone

must have some skin in the game, and Obamacaressuccess is dependent on everyone paying their fairshare into the system to bend the health care cost curve

down. The new tenet: Regretfully Middle Class,unless you are a union, corporate donor, Member ofCongress or federal worker - you lose again and the 1%-ers win again. Tough luck to you.

Additional realities:

(i) Barack will have your doctor making minimumwage, but 16,000 new IRS agents and tens of thousandsof Navigators making six figure salaries and benefitpackages. To Barack, a brain surgeon makes too muchmoney and is the problem, but tens of thousands ofhighly paid bureaucrats are a civic necessity.Bureaucratic costs must never be curved downward;

(ii) Baracks idea of a First Responder is an IRS Agent

scrutinizing your bank account and tax returns longbefore you will ever find a doctor to scrutinize yourhealth;

(iii) President Clinton once signed a law to put 100,000cops on Americas mean streets to protect the public -Obamacare will put 100,000 new bureaucrats in plushoffices around the country to harass the life out of thepoor and middle class. Caviar wishes and champagnedreams for the mighty 100,000; and,

(iv) Doctors and multi-doctor practices which fail todonate to Democrats in future elections will suffer theirreimbursement checks lost in the mail. Thereimbursement check will never even be printed if, Godforbid, a doctor donates to a conservative candidate.

Like all Marxist or Fascist public policies, Obamacare

chisels away its destructive effects for the 1%-ers. It isexclusively for the 99% to suffer under, facing massiveinsurance premium increases, outrageously higherdeductibles, rationed care, doctor shortages, IRSharassment, forever increasing financial penalties, andruinous loss of privacy of Americans most confidentialinformation.

On Aug. 14, the Maine Equal Rights Center issued apress release announcing its campaign to repealeducation's Common Core state standards initiative. Twodays later, Education Commissioner Steve Bowenresigned.

On Aug. 21, MERC held a press conference outside Gov.Paul LePage's office and on Sept. 5 he issued anexecutive order blocking the standards.

The Common Core standards were passed because it wasconsidered emergency legislation to get federalstimulus money. It has been three years and no moneyhas been paid.

Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution establishes the federalgovernment's powers, and education isnt one of them.That means that responsibility is left to the states and

local school boards.Common Core doesnt have the authority to imposeeducation standards, which is why the federalgovernment had to bribe the states.

The Sun Journal, in an editorial "We must not abandonCommon Core," printed Aug. 23, wrote, We triedsetting education standards locally. Didnt work, and,While it has an appealing ring, leaving standards up tolocal schools and school boards is inefficient andimpractical.

The Sun Journal just said people's rights has a nice ringto it, but that system is inefficient and impractical, andthat the federal government, with a 13 percent publicapproval rating, can do a better job.

The Sun Journal added, One of the several flaws of NoChild Left Behind was that it allowed states to set theirown educational standards. That isnt accurate. NoChild Left Behind doesnt let states set their ownstandards. The Tenth Amendment of the U.S.Constitution protects the public's right to possess thatpower. We, the people, control education, not the federalgovernment.

Communists would argue that since students do better insome states but worse in others, underachievers willnever be equal unless the government takes TenthAmendment rights away. The Tenth Amendment is aboutstates' rights, which gives local people power over acentralized government.

The Tenth Amendment also provides a system of checksand balances, making it more difficult to overthrow thefederal government. Instead of one centralizedgovernment, there are 50 state governments, and then all

the individuals who make up those communities.

America doesn't have a top-down government where atiny minority dictates mandates over the collective.America's government is from the ground up, whichprotects individual rights.

The Tenth Amendment is a brilliant safety feature.Common Core deactivates that safety feature, making agovernment takeover easier. That is why Common Coreis dangerous and must be ended. That is what the MaineEqual Rights Center's campaign will do.

When you hear that Common Core are internationalstandards, that is another way of saying "not American."

then they should run for local school boards;however, that isnt the case anymore becauseCommon Core takes away that right.

That means that no matter how terrible a job thefederal government does with education, there isnothing people will be able to do because we lostthose rights and that power.

Common Core is not only unconstitutional, butcriminal and violates three federal laws: the GeneralEducation Provisions Act, the Department ofEducation Organization Act and the Elementary andSecondary Education Act.

Will under-achieving students really perform betterif the government takes away the people's rights todetermine their children's education? Is violatingthree federal laws and bribing the states with moneythat was never paid setting a good standard?

That is why we have local control and why we, thepeople, will vote on it. Common Core also attacksparental rights, privacy rights and others.

If a student cant read or write by the time theygraduate high school, taking away people's rightswill not change that.

Common Core is another Trojan horse, used toprogressively take over local control.

The United States Constitution limits the power of acentralized government because when it gets to acertain point, government is no longer accountableto the people. That is when bad things happen.

The Maine Equal Rights Center's campaign willrepeal Common Core, restore Tenth Amendmentrights and give power back to the people.

Democrat Congressman AlanGrayson has sent out arevolting email equating theTea Party with the Ku KluxKlan and cross burners.

As a black conservative who has been a headliner athundreds of tea party rallies, and penned the "AmericanTea Party Anthem

," I take special offense over thehateful words and conduct of Congressman Grayson.

Here's an excerpt from Congressman Grayson'sdisgusting email:

Enough is enough! In the American Tea PartyAnthem I wrote this line: "So when they call you aracist, because you disagree, it's just another of theirdirty tricks to silence you and me." AndCongressman Grayson is trying to silence us, toostracize us and have our views be deemed tooradioactive to be a part of today's political discussionand debate.

Let me tell Congressman Grayson something: TheTea Party movement was founded by sincereAmericans who are saddened by what is happeningto this great Republic - the massive deficits, thegovernment takeover of multiple parts of oureconomy, the loss of individual liberties.

All the while the media and Democrats haverepeatedly smeared us as racists, terrorists, called usnames like "tea baggers" etc... Well it's time thatthere be consequences for their unacceptable

The lady that was sitting behind the desk, I guesscalled up another head lady, and they had her onspeakerphone on her cellphone, so the lady wastalking, and I couldnt really understand what shewas saying because she had me on speakerphone,Davis said. I remember her saying, We cant havethis type of stuff going on here, so we have torelease you.

Feeling badly that he had something to do with theFlorida mother of two losing her job, Hannity saidhe would give her $26,000, tax-free the amount ofher annual salary and help her find another job.

Davis also appeared on Hannity Thursday night,saying her termination turned out to be a blessingfrom God.

Hannity had to set up a special email address toaccept job offers for Davis, saying that the responsethroughout the day had beenoverwhelming, including at least one solid offer.
