DESCRIPTION:

- The PAU units are single package air cooled air conditioners.- The PAU series includes 10 models of cooling and heating.- PAU for cooling only.- PAUJ for cooling and heating.- Suitable for outdoor installation either on a roof or at ground �oor.- Completed with pipe, wiring and refrigerant charging from the factory.- Low noise.- Hermetic compressors for model 006 to 040.- HP and LP cut-out switches.- Air �lters.- Electrical panel.

GUIDE SPECIFICATIONGENERALThe PAU air cooled single packaged airconditioners shall be completely factoryassembled, leak-tested, evacuated andfully-charged with R-22, ready forinstallation.

COMPRESSORUnit model 006 to 040 shall have Scrollhermetic compressor(s). All compressorsare mounted on vibration isolators.

UNIT CASINGThe unit shall be constructed from electorgalvanized steel. The exterior panels shall beacoustically lined with 1/2 thick, 40 kg/cu.m.Fiber glass insulation. The insulation shallbe a�xed to the casing with the water proofadhesive.

CONDENSER COILCoils shall be internally enhanced,seamless copper tubes, mechanicallyexpanded into aluminium �ns with fullheight collars. Coil shall be leak testedat 350 psig from factory. Fan shall bedynamically and statically balanced,direct drive, providing vertical airdischarge from extended ori�cesfore�ciency and low noise.

EVAPORATOR FAN AND MOTORA choice of evaporator blower motor isavailable for �eld installation to meetany application requirement. Motor ismounted within the insulated cabinet ofthe unit to minimize the transmissionof sound to the surrounding space.

REFRIGERANT CIRCUITThe refrigerant circuit shall be factorypiped, leak tested and pre-charged withR-22. Each refrigerant circuit shall consistof a compressor, expension valve andservice valve.

UNIT CONTROLEach system shall contain factorymounted wired and tested controlsrequired to operate and protect theunit. The control system shall includecompressor overload protection, motorwinding protection, high and lowpressure cutouts to guard againstcompressor damage due to highdischarge head pressure and systemleakage.

EVAPORATOR COILThe direct expansion evaporator shall consistof full face coil with counter�ow circuits,seamless 3/8inch OD staggered copper tubesmechanically bonded into aluminium �ns.

EVAPORATOR BLOWERThe evaporator blower shall be the doubleinlet, forward curved centrifugal type andstatically and dynamically balanced.
