Has ISavePower Power Optimizer® been thoroughly tested?

It has been rigorously tested in controlled environments by:. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.. The Korean Electronics Technology Institute. SNC-Lavalin (a major international electrical engineering

and building contracting company with offices in 30 countries & projects in ~100 countries)

. MET Laboratories, Inc.The results for all of them were consistently excellent (refer to the research reports at the end of this eBook).

The SNC-Lavelin research is the more recent research. The test was conducted on an appliance with a continuous and steady load (a water chiller pump that runs 24/7 and is located in its home office of Montreal, Quebec, Canada). The ISavePower Power Optimizer® was installed and operated till a steady state was achieved. It was then shut off for a period of time and turned on again to verify the results.

The conclusions were impressive. Over 6 months of operation, the average kWh decreased 12%, with all other markers showing significant improvement. SNC-Lavelin was so impressed that it authorized ISavePower Power Optimizer® installations throughout the rest of the company’s headquarters and its beginning to recommend it to its major corporate clients.

Are financing programs available from ISavePower.com?

ISavePower.com has flexible lease programs available. When low lease payments are offset by the significant power savings of the ISavePower Power Optimizer®, installations quickly become cash flow positive and budgeting decisions become simplified.

What are the steps involved in installation?

The first step, and most important step, is to have ISave-Power Power Optimizer® certified master electricians or electrical engineers perform a energy audit of your electri-cal system, so the appropriate ISavePower PowerOptimizer® appliances are properly matched and positioned. This energy audit evaluates electricity consumption detail, available utility energy credit availability, and ISave Power Power Optimizer® equipment analysis and installation costs. Included are the GUARANTEED projected reductions in energy consumption and associated costs.

The installation itself is fairly straightforward. The equipment will be ordered (delivery is typically 2-4 weeks) and installed by trained professionals who have been certified, licensed and bonded (installation involves nothing more complex than basic electrical wiring in parallel).

How much power does it consume?

The ISavePower Power Optimizer® is a passive technology so it consumes negligible amount of power.

How long does it take to start seeing electricity savings?

Once the ISavePower Power Optimizer® is turned on, measureable electrical changes occur immediately. Modest KWH savings also begin immediately from the improved electricity flow. Those KWH savings continue to improve as the improved electricity flow conditions the entire electrical circuitry. Depending on how much electricalcircuitry has to be conditioned, this process typically takes 4-12 weeks until a steady state is achieved (refer to the various research reports at the end of of this eBook for more information).

ISavePower Power Optimizer’s® treatment positively impacts all aspects of the materials involved in the conduction and use of electricity, namely; - the conducting material (the wire) - the load using the electricity, (the appliance) - the electron charges which comprise the electric current itself.

Harmful electromagnetic waves, harmonics and thermal radiation - which are generated every time resistance is created by the passage of electricity through a wire - are also effectively reduced.

The ScienceBehind ISavePower Power Optimizer®

Who developed the science behind ISavePower Power Optimizer®?Dr. Kwon Young Dae (’Michael’), a Professor of Physics at Young-Nam University in Taegu, S. Korea, is the developer of the “Balance Wave Theory”. He worked diligently for 2 decades before he successfully created his first prototype and patent in 2001. He introduced his work at the 3rd IEEE International Conference on Industrial Informatics in Perth, Australia in a paper titled “A Study on Improving Electric Energy Result by Using Composition Wavelength” (August, 2005).

Science and Technology(cont)

On a scientific level, what is ISavePower Power Optimizer® doing?

What are the scientific challenges ISavePower Power Optimizer® has to overcome?

ISavePower Power Optimizer® is based on quantum physics. All matter is an assembly of microscopic particles called atoms. All light is a stream of microscopic particles called photons. All thermal vibrations in a solid are a swarm of microscopic particles called phonons. The electrons are trying to drift toward the positive terminal of the battery, but the phonons keep crashing into them. The random direction of these collisions disturbs the attempted organized motion of the electrons against the electric field. The deflection or scattering of electrons with phonons is one source of resistance. As tempera-ture rises, the number of phonons increases and with it the likelihood that the electrons and phonons will collide. Thus when temperature goes up, resistance goes up.

A perfect crystal lattice, with no thermal motions or other deviations from periodic structure, has no resistance. However, real metal has crystallographic defects, impurities, multiple isotopes, and thermal motion of the atoms. Electrons scatter from all of these, resulting in resistance to their flow of energy. Increased resistance results in increases in harmful electromagnetic waves, harmonics, and thermal radiation.

Science and Technology(cont)

How does ISavePower Power Optimizer® overcome these challenges?

In electrical conductors at the atomic level, outer shell electrons are loosely attached or “free”

These electrons wander randomly from atom to atom colliding in an electron sea

NUCLEUS

ELECTRONS

Free electrons orbitting around an atom’s nucleus generate a natural outward, centrifugal force. With its application of specific wavelengths of the infrared light spectrum, ISavePower Power Optimizer® counters this natural centrifugal force with an induced inward, centripetal force. This results in the following: - photoelectric coupling occurs between photons - the electron wavelength is lengthened - the vibration state of ‘spinning’ electrons is stabilized within electrical circuits - the irregular drifting of free electrons is controlled. - the reduction of the energy level of the electrons

ISavePower Power Optimizer’s® benefits for electrical systems are extraordinary: - Resistance is reduced - Friction is reduced - Heat is reduced.

All aspects of the materials involved in the conduction are positively impacted: - The conducting material (the wire) - The load using the electricity - The appliance - The electron charges (which comprise the electric current itself)

By fostering the high-tech industries including renewable energy sources, robotics, IT convergence and high-tech medicine, the government expects to create 3.5 million jobs over the next 10 years.

And if research and development plans proceed as scheduled, the new growth engines are estimated to generate 700 trillion won ($539 billion) in added value and $900 billion in exports by 2018, according to the Ministry.

For the "green technology industry," the Government will be seeking investment projects for reusable energy, greenhouse gas emission reduction and fuel-ecient transportation.

In the "high-tech industrial convergence industry," investments will go to bolster next-generation IT projects, the merging of broadcast and telecommunications, biotech and medical technology development.

The government also plans to focus on developing core technologies for next-generation wireless telecommunication, fuel-cell power generation systems, high-tech ships and oshore facilities.

However, out of these 17 projects, Ministry of Knowledge Economy will take charge of 10 main projects. Though the government has yet to nalize its projections for the cost and economiceects of the project, Ministry of Knowledge Economy said it is aiming to attract around 98 trillion won ($75 billion) in investment through 2013, about 90 trillion won ($69 billion) coming from the private sector, to the 10 core industries on the list.

"To bolster the country’s green technology sector, as well as its high-tech convergence and value-added industries, we will create a 250 billion won ($192 million) fund to support investment in growth industries this year,’’ said Lee Dong-geun, who heads the ministry’s growth industries division. "And the total amount for new growth industry fund would be gradually increased to 3 trillion won ($2.3 billion) by 2013" he added.

The fund will be used to support various high-risk research and development endeav-ors that companies may not otherwise engage in and to help companies sell high-tech goods such as eco-friendly cars by generating demand.

The ministry also said that it plans to invest 1.5 trillion won ($1.2 billion) in the parts and materials industry by 2012. It said that by that time, they aim to bolster 100 com-panies or more in this eld.

Future investment plans will be outlined for seven other projects besides the 10 put forward by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, including water treatment, the development of eco-friendly city infrastructure, and advances in the food, health and tourism industries.

To realize the plan, Seoul said it will induce private investment in R&D by revising regulations, oering tax benets for eco-friendly cars and generating public demand for high-tech products. It also plans to open specialized universities and graduate schools to foster research & development manpower.

SNC-LavalinSNC-Lavalin one of the world’s leading groups of engineering and construction companies, a key player in facilities, operations, management and infrastructure, with offices in 30 countries and projects in some 100 countries.

Challenge:To reduce electrical consumption of an A/C chiller unit in the 23 story home office building.

SolutionAn ISavePower Power Optimizer® was installed on a water chiller pump serving one of the 23 floors in SNC-Lavalin’shead office located in Montreal, Canada and has been operating since July 19, 2007. Based upon the realized savings, plans are underway to install Power Optimizers® to serve all motors, lighting and electrical outlets throughout the 23 storeybuilding.

kWh results were determined using a kWh meter installed by ProSonic, SNC-Lavalin’s selectrical contractor. The results were reviewed by an engineering energy expert of SNC-Lavalin. The baseline (prior to Optimizer installation) average energy consump-tion per hour was 22.21 kWh. After installation it dropped to 19.55 kWh as measured on Nov. 12, 2007, for a savings of 12.0%. In addition the kVAdecreased by 30.2% (from 29.9 to 20.8) and the power factor improved by 26.1% (from 0,744 to 0.938). This demonstration project is under continued study.

The ISavePower Power Optimizer® manufactured specifically for use with three types of equipment - Inductive - Resistive - For purposes of lightingThe ISavePower Power Optimizer® achieves best results and highest savings when dedicated to a single piece of equipment or loaded circuit and installed in close proximity to the load. Can be installed for multiple pieces of equipment on a circuit, but they should be of the same type to generate highest savings (i.e., a group of lamps or engines).

When the ISavePower Power Optimizer® is connected to resistive load equipment results are: - a long term result of changing conductor density (which improves conductivity which in turn reduces energy losses) - an increase in equipment effectiveness (more energy emitted by a heating element implie less time is needed to deliver the same number of calories)

When the ISavePower Power Optimizer® is connected to lighting load equipment, the results are: - a long term result of changing conductor density (which improves conductivity which in turn reduces energy losses) - an increase in equipment effectiveness (more energy emitted by a lighting elements results in less time needed to deliver the same number of lumens)

ISavePower Power Optimizer® will not change electric power, (voltage) of installed equipment in the electric circuit.

ISavePower Power Optimizer® will reduce the amount of energy required from the source, (drawn from the mains).

Permanent demand reduction achieved by: - reducing the energy lost to Joule Heat - reducing the electromagnetic turbulence in the circuit and loads - reducing resistance (increasing density) of conductors

Introduction: This second Interim Report is an up to date summary of the on-going demonstration project at SNC-Lavalin’s head office building located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Power Optimizer, by K&A Co. Ltd, is a patented device that reduces energy consumption when connected across a panel feeding a load. The Power Optimizer (PO) consists of a semi-conductor device adapted to emit synthetic wavelength (infrared light and visible light) in the form of a pulse micro-current of light energy waves onto the conductor (and hence the electrons of the circuit) feeding the load, resulting in improved efficiency of the circuit through the reduction of losses, an improved power factor and the reduction of electron noise and vibrations. The benefits obtained with the Power Optimizer include a reduction of power and energy consumption, reduction of kVA demand, improvement of the power factor, reduction in kVAR, reduction of noise, harmonics and surges. The Power Optimizer also has environmental benefits due to less carbon emissions resulting from the energy savings. The device has been widely used in the Far East for over five years and is just now starting to be commercially implemented in North America. Scope: The purpose of this demonstration project is to determine the benefits of the Power Optimizer on a 25 hp motor on the 23rd floor of SNC-Lavalin’s head office building located at 455 René-Lévesque Blvd. in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The motor used for this project drives a pump used to circulate chilled water to cool the main computer room in the building. Equipment: The following equipment was used for the demonstration project:

• Power Optimizer - 25 kVA, 600 volt, 2 A, 60 Hz, (connected through a 3 phase, 30 A fusible disconnect)

• TES 3600 – certified Power Analyzer - CAT III 1000V • Prova 6830 – certified Power and Harmonics Analyzer- CAT III 600V

Project Personnel: The following people were involved in the demonstration project:

• Dr. Rajindra Verma, Eng., Ph.D. - Project Director, SNC-Lavalin International Inc. (SLII) • Francois McCann, Administration & Property Manager, SNC-Lavalin Profac Inc. • George Amarica, B. Eng., MSCI - President, Amplus Energy Solutions Inc. (AES) • Sandu Amarica, B. Eng. - VP Operations, Amplus Energy Solutions Inc. • Eddy De Nitto, Certified Electrician, Pro-Sonic Electrique Inc. • Mike Arcaro, Master Electrician, Pro-Sonic Electrique Inc.

Methodology: The work plan for this demonstration project was jointly developed and agreed upon by SNC-Lavalin Profac and AES. The pump-motor on the 23rd floor is a 25 hp, 24A, 3-phase. 3-wire, 575V, 1770 rpm unit. It was chosen because it operates under a constant, steady load that circulates the same quantity of chilled water over a constant distance in a closed system and it operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The TES 3600 and Prova 6830 power analyzers and the Power Optimizer (PO) were installed by SNC-Lavalin’s electrical contractors, Eddy Di Nitto, certified electrician, and Mike Arcaro, Master Electrician, co-owners of Pro-Sonic Electrique Inc. The PO was installed through a 3 phase 30A fusible disconnect. The Prova 6830 was used as a complimentary meter to confirm the results of the TES 3600 and the results were found to be identical within a small margin. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the PO, the power consumption baseline data was established for the motor before the PO was turned on. The TES 3600 was used to determine the baseline. The baseline data was collected from July 13 – 19, 2007. The PO was then turned on and data was collected on a weekly basis until January 21, 2008. Recording the effect of turning the PO off for a brief period of about 10 minutes and then turning it on again was the last step of this demonstration project. Dr. Rajindra Verma (SLLI) and Sandu Amarica (AES) witnessed the equipment installation and monitoring plus they reviewed the results. See Appendix A for photos of the installation.

This is to state that we, SNC-Lavalin in association with Amplus Energy Solutions (AES), have successfully completed a six month demonstration project of the [ISavePower] Power Optimizer™ (rated 25 kVA, 600 volt, 60 Hz), which was installed on a water chiller pump-motor serving one of the 23 floors in SNC-Lavalin’s head office building located in Montreal, Canada. This 25 hp pump-motor (575 volt, 1770 rpm, 24 amp, 60 Hz) runs as a steady and constant inductive load operating continuously (24 hours, 7 days a week).

Prior to the installation of [ISavePower] Power Optimizer® on July 19, 2007, baseline data was taken to establish the power consumption and other parameters during the period from July 13-19, 2007. Electricity usage results were determined using a kWh meter installed by ProSonic Electrique, SNC-Lavalin’s electrical contractor. The results were reviewed jointly by SNC-Lavalin and AES. The baseline average energy consumption per hour was 22.2 kWh. After installation of the [ISavePower] Power Optimizer®, the average energy consumption per hour dropped to 19.6 kWh as measured on November 5, 2007, for a savings of 12% (22.2 -> 19.6). this saving has remained constant for 11 weeks as demonstrated by measurements taken up to January 21, 2008. In addition, the kVA decreased by 30% (29.9 -> 20.9) and the power factor improved by 26% (0.744 -> 0.935).

Based upon these positive realized savings, presently plans are underway to install [ISavePower] Power Optimizers® to serve all motors, lighting, and electrical outlets throughout SNC-Lavalin’s 23-story head office building. Also, our facilities management division, SNC-Lavalin Profac Inc., has started action to market the [ISavePower] Power Optimizers® to some of their large corporate customers.

Abstract - The energy loss in electric motors, electric heaters, and lighting operated by electric energy, and in the conductor resistance of electric wire, are generated due to irregular movement of electrons caused by heat and vibration. Synthetic infrared rays mitigate the vibration of electrons, one of the reason causing energy loss, by relieving the friction of electrons. Therefore, they stabilize electric systems and reduce power consumption by maximizing the efficiency of electric energy. To change the property of electron movement, a energy source which can be a particular wave is needed. The particular wave is made by visible light at 500nm-600nm and infrared rays at 1,000nm 10,000nm, using infrared and visible light filters which adjust light intensity. When the wave, stored in a semicon-ductor, flows into electric wire, it can reduce Joule heat by mitigating the collision of spinning electrons. Therefore, the decrease in specific resistance of the conductor improves conductiv-ity, and electric resistance caused by mobile electrons is reduced so it significantly affects electric energy by Joule heat. The basic experi-ment resulted in a 10 to 15% electric energy reduction by using a developed photosynthetic irradiation facility to generate these particular infrared rays, and semiconductor or supplying equipment to store the synthetic infrared wave. The research has been carried out by experiments based on theory until now; however, the correla-tion between the change of electron movement and energy efficiency, synthetic wave and capac-ity of power consumption will be continuously researched.

Index Terms- Electric Energy Efficiency, Infra-red Rays, electric resistance, semiconductor.

1. INTRODUCTION

There are factors of energy loss such as heat and vibration in electromotor, electric heater or lightings, which uses electric energy for opera-tion, as well as the conductor resistance in electric cable path due to the irregular movement of the electron. For the vibration of the electron that becomes the factor of energy loss, shine infrared ray synthetic wavelength, that is the infrared ray (light) and visible light of specific range over the semiconductor and make the wavelength flow over the electric cable to relieve the crash ofthe electron that makes spinning movement (changing the moving direction and characteris-tics) and to decrease the energy loss; relieve the generation of frictional heat and heat vibration ofthe atom due to the crash among atomic nucleus, bound electron and internal impurities existed in the conductor so as to decrease the heat; make the flow of electrons in the electric goods smooth to decrease the noise of magnetic field, in which the electron generates, frictional noise and vibration and to change the track ofelectrons flowing on the conductor as well decreasing the fallen electrons and radio wave; relieve the frictional power of the electron by using the circuit device that heightens the efficiency of electric energy to stabilize the electric system and maximize the electric energy efficiency decreas-ing the electric power consumption.

It is the plane figure of the charge distribution inside the metal. + means the positive charge and electron strongly bound to atomic nucleus, and - means the valence electron on the outmost track of the atom which is not bound to any specific atom but moves freely. The electrons in the metal, according to the electronic gas theory, crashes with heavy ion in almost stationary state making successive move in every direction, and the average distance between crashes is called mean free path. The electron has the mean speed in normal state which is called drift speed. If the size of electric field is E, then the acceleration

, so the electron's speed V becomes

V = at

So the mean speed of the electron V becomes

then u is electron's mobility. If a conductor of +length L(m) has free electrons N, and the time is T, the current passes in the unit time becomes I,

and the current density

becomes J,

then ρ [c/m ] is density of charge.

J = nev = neµE = σE, σ = neµ,

then σ is conductivity.

So, Ohm's law is materialized. In this way, the energy that electron gets from the electric field is delivered to the ion every time it crashes with the electron, and thereby the power is consumed when the electron passes within the metal. The flow of current is the move of electrons, and numerous electrons crash one by one, and the energy of electrons becomes extinct and is emitted in heat. If the wavelength of specific area is lighted on the electron, it becomes in excited state decreasing the crash. There are two factors of energy loss: irregular movement of the electron and unbalance, but by removing the factors of electronic vibration, we can stabilize the electric system and maximize the electric energy efficiency decreasing the electric power consumption.

The organization of the glass-crystal is composed of fine crystal particle and the light is dispersed in the particle system. Recently, as the research for the sintering technology and additives such as fine particles and high equalization of raw mate-rial powder and hot press has been proceeded, light-absorbing ferroelectric ceramic, which is represented by anti-heat, light-absorbing and PLZT was developed. The chemical formula of PLZT is represented by

and the formation is represented by x/l-y/y . PLZT Ceramic has the features of lifespan such as ferro-electricity, visible radiation and infrared rays. The electrooptics positive number r of PLZT Ceramic is 6~40 times bigger than LiNbO3, and is also available for optical strength modulation absorbed by the forced transition with anti-ferroelectric phase (lifespan) and ferroelec-tric phase(high dispersion) if the electric field is approved . The effect is used in optic modulation element, optic ceramic, video mark accumulation element, optical memory, etc. Besides, PLZT Ceramic can form volatile space charge electric field with optic investigation or change the other refraction rate or optic absorption rate, and is used for video mark accumulation device, optic memory element.

3) Background of Theory

a) Photoelectric effect

The light and electron often makes various phenomena by combining each other. For example, photoelectric effect or radiation upon electric discharge. As in the figure below, if the light is on the A metal, the electron comes out from A and goes into the other electrode B making the current I flow. This phenomenon is called photoelectric effect, and the electron comes out by the light is called photoelectron.

In the figure 2.2, if negative voltage -V is approved, the value increases, as if the kinetic energy mv that one 2 electron has when it comes out from A is the same to the work eV to come out from B and the current does not pass. From the voltage V. at this time, we can see the kinetic energy T when the electron comes out from the electrode.

If we mark T calculated in this way with the function of v, the number of vibrations of the light, then, as seen in the figure 2.4, T becomes 0 below certain limit, and above the limit v , it increases in straight line in proportion to v . Thelight of the same number of vibrations, however, the kinetic energy doesn't change but the number of coming out electrons increases though the intensity of the light is getting higher. The size oflight energy is decided by the intensity of the light, that is the amplitude of radio wave. If the light is too weak, therefore, at any number of vibrations, the photoelectric effect will not be made as the energy required for electrode to come out is not concentrated.

b) Einstein' law

If the light is a kind of particle that has the energy E = h and movement p = , this is called photo-proton or photon. Here, the:h(h = 6.625 x 10 [J.S] ) is Plank Constant. In this way of thinking, as seen in the figure 2.3, the electron in the metal crashes with photon getting energy h and come to the outside by crossing the potential wall ø on the metal surface, and follow-ing the law of energy conservation, it becomes

T= m v = eV = hv-eø

and if it is eø = h , it matches with the experi-ment.

c) Compton effect

Compton found out that there is something with longer wavelength than incidence X Ray among scattering X Rays generated upon projecting X Rays through the substance, and this is called Compton Effect. To explain this phenomenon, consider X Ray as a particle that has energy and movement, and consider that the interaction between photoproton and electron is made as if elastic crash of elastic body, then the energy of the photoproton decreases as much as the kinetic energy that the electron has. This means that the v of, h the energy of X Ray decreases and the wavelength of X Ray gets longer. This is the normal explanation of Compton Effect and the quantitative handling of this relation is as follows. According to the Theory of Relativity by Einstein, the mass m and energy E has the follow-ing relation.

E = mc [J]

In addition, as the energy of the photoproton is , the momentum P becomes

P = mc = = v

and the law of energy conservation is established between the energy and the momentum upon the crash of photoproton and electron. Therefore, if the vibration times of incident X Ray is v , the vibration times ofdispersed X Ray is v, and the speed of electron after the crash is v,

is established.

The figure 2.5 is to explain the Compton Effect, and if the ø and θ is the angle of the electron and photoproton's directions of dispersion, then

d) Principle

Figure 2.6 device of circut

Figure 2.6 is a circuit diagram according to a preferred embodiment, which performs rectifying function, eliminates electromagnetic waves causing inductive interference, exchanges particu-lar signals and energy, and controls particular information using the electric and optical energy of low voltage. When the current of normal voltage 110, 220, 380 or 440 V is applied to a circuit, the circuit induces low voltage through a voltage transformer C , that uses capacitance. Reference numerals D and D designate diodes, which serve to perform a rectifying opera-tion and eliminate electromagnetic waves that cause inductive interference. Reference numerals R ~ R designate resistors and reference numer-als C , and C designate capacitors, which are configured to exchange particular signals and energy. A circuit B is a circuit that serves as an AND gate for an semiconductor and a input termi-nal of a input of semiconductor to transmit output values to 220V input terminal J and J when special wavelength of infrared formed by a middle-infrared bandpass filter and a near-infrared bandpass filter is irradiated to a semicon-ductor chip, as an OR gate for a middle-infrared band, as an XOR gate for a near-infrared band, and as an NAND gate for a non-infrared band.

If there's a time change in magnetic flux density, it produces turbulences in electric field. If there's a change in electric field, it causes turbulences in magnetic field. When there's alternating current in the wire, it changes magnetic field around wire so electromagnetic wave is produced. Therefore, power consumption is reduced by decreased amount of electromagnetic wave, with reducing de-orbited electrons, by inducing orbit change of electron with mixed-infrared ray.

the conductor due to the Compton Effect though the closed loop is not formed as it is volatile space charge. In case of the broadcasting wave, for example, the short wave with short wavelength, as the displacement current (radio wave) i is

according to the Maxwell's equations, can trans-mit the displacement current better as the wave-length is getting shorter, but it couldn't be trans-mitted well if there are obstacles such as long distance or mountains. However, if the wave-length is getting longer just like the infrared ray, it is not affected by the long distance and obstacles (mountain, wall, etc.) Therefore, by making the wavelength of the electron on the conductor long, and as the speed of electron moving inside the conductor is

the Joul's heat generated upon the crash of electrons can be decreased. In this way, the resistivity of the conductor gets smaller increa ing the conductive rate and the decreased electric resistance upon the move of electrons isjudged to be helpful in saving the electric energy by the Joul's heat.

Also it alleviates friction of electron in conduc-tor so it can reduce power consumption with increased efficiency of load device and productiv-ity According to P=VIcos θη , power consumption can be decreased by increasing efficiency( η ). Mixed-infrared ray also reduces friction between moving electrons, so noise and vibration caused by electron friction are decreased. For instance, noise or vibration generated by super-pressure wire, transformer, or motor can be reduced, so it directly links to lowering power consumption. Therefore, power consumption can be reduced due to decreased Joule heat, increased efficiency ( η ), lowered noise and vibration, and reduced electromagnetic wave.

III. CONCLUSION

After lighting the light (wavelength) made in specific area on the active area of optic ceramic (semiconductor), make the conductor shed the light of specific wavelength to affect the electron movement. The ceramic material such as PLZT can form the space charge (the accumulation of the light) by lighting the light, and the space charge (light) is provided to the conductor making the wavelength of the electron longer on

Notes:

On 3/18/06 @ ~5:00am, a sudden drop in power consumption was noted. After the 3KVA Plug-in Energy Savings Device was unplugged, the power consumption continued to decrease. On 4/7/06, it appears that the power consumption has started to increase. According to Daniel Schulman, this is a result of the residual effects of the device which takes time to dissipate.
