Pacifica Tribune-Jan. 11 '95, "My Country, My Right to Serve by Mary Ann Humphrey, and "Conduct Unbecoming" by Randy Shilts, accounts of Paul Starr, former husband of Mike Fuhr, US Air Force Captain, squadron commander in the Strategic Air Command Spangdahlem AFB, Germany. Court martialed and jailed for 9 months of an 18 month sentence, 6 in Leavenworth, for being gay in the US military. His life and career were devastated. He had the good fortune of living his final years in dignity and with the love of his husband.TRANSCRIPT
